I’m extremely disappointed with Love2Shop. I contacted their customer service for assistance redeeming the remaining balance on the gift card I received from work after realising it had expired just a few days earlier. They left me waiting for days, only to tell me that the account manager decided not to replace or reactivate my card - even though they confirmed the remaining balance of over £200 was still there. There was no explanation for their decision, no alternative solution offered, and no attempt to resolve the situation. Be careful trusting your money with this company - they will just hold onto to the funds instead of helping you access what’s yours. Terrible customer experience and zero accountability in my opinion.

Vouchers expire within months and Love 2 shop wont extend or even listen to you....this is how they make their money!! Vouchers from work as a Gift and as they have been paid for it's 100% profit forvthem so they dont give a monkeys about the end user! ....avoid ever giving these as a gift!!!

Terrible - given £250 voucher that you can’t use directly in any store!! You have to register and then exchange the vouchers with the Love2Shop one - ridiculous and stressful!

Do not use Love2Shop paper vouchers! I was given a paper voucher as a thank you and was unable to use it in either Sainsbury's or Boots, even though Sainsbury's was listed on their website as somewhere it could be used. Boots was even listed on the actual voucher and it still didn't work. When I called Love2Shop they were not helpful at all and seemed to suggest that I had damaged the voucher and that this is why it wouldn't work. They point blank refused to send me a replacement, even though it was for only £5 and would have been goodwill. It was also not possible to use the voucher online. Very disappointing. Avoid!

I was so grateful to have received a £25 gift voucher from my employer this xmas. They really didn't have to do that. I read online that I can redeem in store at halfords, so off I went to buy some winter cycling gloves. At the till I gave them my voucher only to be told that they have never seen them before. A store manager was called and he said that he'd not seem them before either. They tried using the code on the voucher and it didn't work. So I left the que as I was holding people up, went on the love2shop website, you have to make an account entering all your personal details, verify your email address ect ect. Do not give these gift cards, you are actually giving people stress. Very hard to redeem just like many of the other reviews on this site. Voucher ended up in the bin, just like many other people have said. Glad I'm not alone.

I exchanged my £150 purple card balance for Amazon e-gift card. The e-gift card they send my had already been redeemed. I hadn't even opened my email at the time they said it was redeemed. They refuse to help, saying it's all Amazon's fault but Amazon say I have to go through who I bought it from. That was towards my Xmas presents and they've taken my money and don't care.

My employer insists on issuing vouchers instead of just adding any bonus to my pay (I'd rather get taxed on it honestly) after looking at the appallingly pitiful list of retailers that accept the paper voucher and the fact that you can't register it to spend online or exchange for anything I think my employer will just be awarding the love2shop company my bonus since these will likely expire or end up in the bin.

Nowhere takes them unless they gave the chip - I wasn’t aware this was a choice. Will not be wasting £400 on one next year!

Avoid at all costs! Impossible to use. Give people cash as gifts and do not give them the stress of using (not using) these gift cards. They are totally misleading and have zero flexibility. Customer support blamed the retailer for not explaining that these cards have to be used in store and cannot be used online and refused to let me complain! Horrendous experience. Zero stars. Do not risk purchasing one.

No way of getting and funds back. What a disgraceful company! The parents had all collected for us teachers and it is all lost my a scamming horrible company! Avoid at all costs

They are almost impossible to spend, they get you to set up the cards on an app. Then you find you can’t actually spend them online or through the app without keeping the actual original voucher. Total rip off. Lost £50 because i loaded them online on the app and assumed that was in my account, it’s not! You still need the original voucher. So why get you to load it up online !!!

Given by work £50. App is rubbish and doesn't work. Nothing works on it actually. Constantly providing new password etc. Stay clear of this if thinking of buying for self or a friend.
