“The new café is soulless. The music is far too load and does not fit the atmosphere. The concept ignores M&S's main customer base. It is inaccessible for the average customer and is more suited to a central London station than a fosse park cafe. Will not be returning.”
“I recently had the pleasure of interacting with your customer service assistant Mir in men's clothing, and I must say, the experience far exceeded my expectations. I had a fitting issue with a suit I was planning to buy. To my surprise, Mir made the process absolutely seamless. One of the most memorable parts of my experience was that the representative didn’t just stop at resolving the issue. Not only that, but they even gave me personalized recommendations based on my requirements. I ended up finding more items I loved thanks to their thoughtful suggestions. I will definitely be shopping here again, knowing that if I ever have a problem, I can trust that the customer service team will handle it with the utmost professionalism and care.”
“What a total disappointment!!! I was excited to visit the new cafe today and it was a shamble. The staff were all doing their best but someone has turned our lovely cafe into a ‘fast food’ venue. Shame on you!!!

“It’s like visiting a hyper market so big you end up just walking through it not really looking at anything. The staff member I encountered at the self service food hall till was rude and unhelpful. So unlike M&S, I won’t be in a hurry to return”
“Served by a foreign lady ref 24/7 13.07 07291824 804217 120 0369 from receipt. Most curt and rude. Did not want to help re my Sparks card. Reluctantly looked and said I had no offers. Charged full price. I then spoke to an assistant (Anita) in the Food Dept - very helpful, looked at my 'phone, said the lady was wrong. I returned to till I paid at - they knew who she was (M something?) but she had gone to lunch. Complaints on 'phone useless - get S. Africa, 4 attempts, they give me local Leicester no.to call, but I still get S.Africa. Useless. This lady needs Customer Service guidance to uphold your standards.”
“The shop is fine no complaints, but toilets near home department very poor, 2 cubicles one had door missing and the other one you could not shut the door or lock it because of the frame . Had to sit on toilet holding the door shut”
“I would like to give a very BIG and special thanks to Bev for giving me 5* customer service. I had visited your branch on Friday 19th Aug and had a Wedding in a local Hotel. Last minute I had to but a suit and decided to go to Marks and Spencer. Bev got me exactly what I needed, gave me her professional opinion and made me feel very comfortable in my choice. She took her time, picked all the correct sizes took time to check stock and was very polite. If i had time on the day i would have loved to express this directly with management......she is a true credit to the company. Thanks again Bev.”
“Bought a dinner suit. Till person left the security tag on in error. No alarm as I left the store. Discovered tag at home and called the store. Promised a return call by the Manager which never happened. Had to return the item at my expense to get the tag removed. My wife was treated as a suspect because she had an item with a tag attached. No apology from store staff for the mistake. Absolutely awful catalogue of errors and abysmal service.”

Bar code no 07252235 made in China. Tried contacting M&S Fosse Park on their tel. no. Several times. Phone answering system was computerised so no human contact was available. The advice message advice was to return them to store for service. This I felt was not acceptable and just put he responsibility on me for sorting out the error.”
“Served by a man in Lingerie at Fosse Park....not a happy person he was not friendly at all, I asked him a question about what money left on my gift card, answered very rudely .my daughter said thank-you, he just glared at her ...miserable..so rude.”
“Visited Fosse Park M&S food hall today for the first time since lockdown in March. It was the worst environment for safety I have been to. Too many people, numbers NOT being controlled, narrow isles, people too close at the checkout. M&S are putting profit before safety. They need to limit the numbers in the shop at any one time, reduce the range of produce on offer so widening the isles for safety. More signs needed and more staff to advise at checkout. I have shopped at M&S in Alnwick until now which is safer BUT recently has been less so.”
“Went to Marks & Spencer‘s today to do some shopping beautiful clean shop. But the ladies toilets had no toilet paper in any of the toilets and not been clean for quite awhile by the looks of it very disappointed in Marks & Spencer‘s today.”
