“My husband and I went into the cafe for lunch. It was very busy but we managed to get a table . We sat eating , and chatting, but I accidentally knocked my full can of coke , to my horror it flue off the table and rolled under the table spraying the coke everywhere. I was so embarrassed, I went back up to the pay area to ask one of the staff for help as I was concerned somebody may slip. She said that she would sent someone over . Within minutes a young lad called Jammie came over with a big roll of tissue and he was so polite and helpful , he wiped everything up , he was so cheerful and even went and replaced my drink. His customer service way excellent . He was smiling and genuinely happy to help. He even explained that he would have to put a yellow warning sign by the spillage for safety reasons . He was truly a nice person who was more than happy to help ..”
“Terrible queuing system. Cramped seating area. It’s predominantly frequented by mums and babies and old people but the person who designed it clearly thinks it’s only skinny single men and women inhaling a quick drink and bite and whizzing off. Needs a serious redesign by someone who understands how it will actually be used.”
“The disabled car park by the food hall entrance.i take my disabled friend and my husband parking is horrendous approx 7 spaces before the trolley park after half down along stretch mother and baby then the disabled starts again right to the bottom and the camber is so bad its hard to wheel a trolley full of goods and manage a disable person and their trolley it pulls your hip trying to control trolley.

“We bought a man’s suit, on Monday 14th April 2025. Your Shop Assistant Tom, in the “Try On” area, was extremely welcoming and attentive. We agreed with Tom when he kindly advised that the jacket was too long. Tom sorted out a correct-sized jacket (short), from a different suit, since a matching jacket was not available. We all agreed that Tom was correct. Tom then advised us what to do and explain at the Cash Desk. I had difficulty putting my shoes back on without a shoe horn. Tom had one to hand! What a pleasant- mannered, polite and very helpful young man. We are delighted to let you know. At the Services Cash Desk, Sushy was extremely attentive and thorough, and arranged for the correct suit jacket to be available for collection at your Rugby store, which is convenient for us. Thank you M&S for great service from your two named staff members. Definitely worth a mention.”
“Staff and majority of people shopping here are rude and have no respect or common courtesy for other shoppers. Multiple times I said excuse me to multiple staff members so I could grab the item I wanted or get passed and they just ignored me and continued chatting to colleagues. I approached a staff member who was restocking shelves asked them if they had a specific product which I was struggling to find. They turned around and told me ‘im quite busy at the moment’ which I thought was rather disrespectful. Staff have no self awareness and walk straight into you when walking down isles they also do not look happy to be there. Overall the visit was rubbish and very disappointing, will not be returning here for future food shops.”

“Cafe. When busy this is a shambles. Tables not cleared, or not cleaned. Lazy uninterested staff. Poor queueing system.
Customers expected to clear tables.
High tables and stools that older customers will never use.
Poor selection of food, some pre heated in plastic bags. Whoever designed and allowed this to be built should be made to work in the Cafe for a week. JG.”

I went for a coffee with my kids and a lady from the team come and accuse me for stealing biscuits in front of my kids that was horrible and she didn’t find any thing at all”

“The new café is soulless. The music is far too load and does not fit the atmosphere. The concept ignores M&S's main customer base. It is inaccessible for the average customer and is more suited to a central London station than a fosse park cafe. Will not be returning.”
“I recently had the pleasure of interacting with your customer service assistant Mir in men's clothing, and I must say, the experience far exceeded my expectations. I had a fitting issue with a suit I was planning to buy. To my surprise, Mir made the process absolutely seamless. One of the most memorable parts of my experience was that the representative didn’t just stop at resolving the issue.
