“Ordered several times from Marriner Yarns and always happy with my purchase. Choice of yarn is good, I particularly like the Cotton Touch DK, prices are great and dispatch is always quick. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend! The main body of the jumpers in the photos are worked in the Cotton Touch. It is so soft and has a lovely feel and drape to it.”

“Marriner were quick and efficient with my yarn. They were also very polite, friendly and efficient when I phoned regarding the delivery company and a potential scam which I needed to check. The chunky yarn has been easy to crochet with, but I have yet to start my baby blanket kit so cannot comment on the baby 4 ply although it feels soft in the ball. I'm hoping the pattern will be easy to read and complete.”

“While the quality of the yarn is fine, the colour didn’t match the photograph on your website. It was very different. When I contacted you about this I was told I could return it and get a refund of the cost of the yarn, but not the postage. I believe this is unreasonable, given the fault was yours. I had already paid postage of £2.95 and was expected to pay the return postage too (in total £5.90) in order to get £6.00 refund. Needless to say, I haven’t returned the yarn. Customer service needs improvement. I would have been a regular customer, but I’m not likely to order again.”

Hi Jo, We're sorry to hear that you are not completely satisfied with the yarn received. Every effort is made to ensure all products are as close a colour match as we can make them. All images are colour corrected on a colour calibrated monitor. Please be aware that shades may vary depending on your computer monitor or device. Please note, P&P for all orders under £25 is a standard £2.95 and I'm afraid we do not offer free returns. However, you can also take items back to a local Shaws Direct store for a refund/exchange. “I bought some DK Yarn from Marriner recently for some knitting and crocheting projects and love the results so much so that I will be using them again. the quality of the yarn is fabulous and the delivery was second to none. Also with the range of colours and yarns there is one to suit every project.”
