“At a £1 for 100gr balls I was amazed at the quality of the wool. I do a lot of charity knitting and the cheaper I can get the wool the more I can knit for charity. Thank you for helping me to achieve more in my quest to help the needy.”

“I have purchased across the price range of the yarns that Marriner Yarns supply. and have been extremely pleased with the quality of everything I have bought. I have 4 grandchildren ranging from 10 years down to 2 years (plus 2 honorary grandchildren), and as a retiree I am now on a more restricted income. The children grow so fast, so to be able to purchase a decent yarn for £1 is a bonus, plus I am happy in the knowledge that the items I knit are one offs, and the children love them. At the moment I am knitting 3 jumpers for my grandson, one yellow with a tractor motif, one green with a TRex motif and the final one he has requested is a rainbow jumper which I love doing, except for the part where I have to sew in all the ends! Marriner's have been my lifeline during Lockdown, I knit every day and my real pleasure is seeing the final product and then seeing the children wearing them. Although I am very satisfied with my knits I don't feel I can compete with some of the marvellous outfits other people submit to you. All I can say is that from now on I will be purchasing all my future requirements from Marriner's. My best wishes to you and all your staff hoping they are keeping safe and well. Thank you.”

“I have been using the Marriner merino sock yarn for my last six pairs of socks, love the colours, the almost silky feel, the quantity (will make a size 11 men’s) and the quality, would definitely recommend. Fast delivery, what more could you want?”

“The yarn is easy to work with and knits up well for my Marriner pattern. Choosing colours online was difficult as the darker colours looked almost black, so there was some guesswork. I chose 'emerald green', which looked an extremely dark bottle green. When it arrived it was bright bright green and unsuitable for the garment. With the first order came some colour samples. It's crucial to request these first, before ordering. I contacted Marriner two weeks ago to ask how to return the unwanted yarn, and had no reply.”
