Absolutely worst service...I was lied to and treated with disrespect once ordered was placed. Tanner went back on his word about how an experienced tech would put the chair together. They instead sent a moving company (Werner Moving Company) who told me over the phone that they never installed a massage chair before. This is a $15000 massage chair! How can you lie and say an experienced tech would install this? It gets even worse, there is a review where a customer said that Massage Chair Planet used this same moving company to deliver a massage chair, and they damaged the customer's floors and the delivery guy bullied and almost physically fought the customer at their own house. WOW! Then Massage Chair Planet responded to the review saying they will never use this same moving company (Werner) going forward. Well guess what? They used the same moving company for my delivery! Tanner's response was that all their negative customer reviews are based on customers having a bad day. Is this someone who you would trust to do business with? When a salesman makes a comment like that to explain the past bad reviews, that should be a clear indicator to steer away from this company. I'm not having a bad day, but I wrote this negative feedback. Thankfully, Luraco themselves reached out to me and resolved the issue. I will do business with Luraco, but never again will I buy anything through Massage Chair Planet.

The massage chair was inadequate and disappointing and needed to be returned. The delivery of the chair took a long time. The credit for the return has not yet been processed, and the cost to return the chair was 44% of the cost of the chair. Please process the credit ASAP!

We all know that consumers often times get themselves in trouble by not reading the small print - the small print is intentful and not by mistake. Company’s often highlight all the things consumers want to see because if they highlighted the small print, they would likely not make a sale Full disclosure: I did not read ALL of the fine print - but let me lay everything out before you raise a brow. I typically scan for numbers (percentages and when payoff is scheduled) and I rarely finance unless it’s 0% interest - I can keep the money in an investment to pay off the purchase and the longer the term, typically, the better (inflation). I happened to purchase a massage chair from Massage Chair Planet (MCP) during their pre-labor day sale, which did not qualify for the 0% 48 month term, but qualifies for their 0% 12 month term. Okay, my bad. But what makes this situation really terrible on their end are 4 things; 1) I called to verify their terms, which brings me to my second point 2) their instructions were unclear, but to their credit, they updated their site after I called it out. The intergration from a technical standpoint is fine, as it posts a transaction to Synchrony bank. But from a completeness and customer service standpoint a) Synchrony didn’t show the financing terms on their side, but they do have an area for this, which likely means, massage chair planet is not sending (or did not send at the time of the approval process), what terms I signed up for b) massage chair planet posted (later) that I was approved for 6 months 0% financing - they fixed this. I just want to be clear that they resolved that issue, but companies should not get credit for doing what is right, as it’s the bare minimum c) MCP did not make explicit the terms during the checkout. After I called, MCP confirmed that, “*Your purchase* qualifies for the 0% 48 month term. It’s not that I qualify, but the purchase that is in progress qualifies. 3) I sent an email, as their process was so nebulous that I wanted to cover my own a**, so I emailed to get clarity in writing. They confirmed again that my purchase qualified for 0% 48 month and was sent an invoice which I was told to look it over and I replied, “As long as I get 0% at 48 months, it looks fine” 4) the invoice failed to spell out the terms/special and they failed to correct any misunderstandings. Did I miss the terms? Yes. BUT, so did they, on two occasions and they had a third opportunity after I replied to the invoice email. I offered to split the financing cost of $750 (financing charge passed down to MCP from Synchrony), as they were wanting me to pay $500, so I declined. Even though they made the mistake 2 times, and I, once, I figure that we could both share the mistake and cost. They declined. I figured I was at least fair, and if I paid more than half, it would be saying, “We will make our mistake right by you paying more”, because, I did verify on two occasions and if they don’t know their terms, then how clear is it to the consumer? So what’s the big fuss? For the sake of argument, they have terms written out that I signed up for. Well, they also written out through email and verbally, what those terms were. However, maybe it’s a false dichotomy, but I can only reduce this issue into 1 of 2 scenarios; 1) they mislead me and misrepresented the terms on purpose, or 2) they didn’t know the terms themselves If either one of these cases exist, then they should split the cost. After all, it should be the bare minimum thing to do.

I am very disappointed in the level of service and customer service I received from this company. I had high hopes when I purchased my chair. The "white glove" delivery is a joke. I believe it is on the company they chose to deliver the final mile. Werner Transport was the Umbrella company and they subcontracted to Falcon Express in the area I live. The delivery guys were the most unprofessional. I bought a $8500.00 chair and when it came I watched in horror as the two men flipped the box end over end from the street to the curb and up the sidewalk to my house and eventually onto my front stoop. They then flipped it into the house and proceeded to slide it along my hardwood floors!! I have a stairwell that is designed by an award winning architecture company and it is a patented design, yet they said they could not get it down the stairwell. Once they unpacked the box, because they realized they couldn't keep sliding it down the stairs, they were not physically capable of lifting the chair to go down the stairs. They did not have any proper moving equipment. There were not even wearing uniforms. They were in a hurry to get away and intimidated me into refusing the delivery because they had other stops to make that day and, as they put it, said they couldn't open all day at my house. So after the 5th or 6th time he said do you want to refuse this I agreed. They had already damaged my floors with scratches and when I wrote it on the paper the one guy got very upset and tried to tower over me and tell me to remove what I wrote about the floors. My spouse came out and said that they needed to leave now and they could take up that issue with their supervisor. Massage Chair planet was less than understanding of my dilemma. They even acted as if it were my fault. I could clearly see that the chair would easily fit down the stairwell if they has brought some moving equipment like moving straps to help them lift the chair. They talked me into trying a second attempt with a third person. I was hopeful that a new crew would be able to complete the delivery. I even asked three times, and was assured, that a different crew would come for the second delivery. Who do you think showed up for the second deliver that next week? They sent the same two guys with one other guy to help. The first thing the head driver did was march up to my face and tell me that I will sign a waiver to release him from any and all damages made to my house Before they would even attempt to bring the chair in for the second time. I said absolutely not and who is going to fix my floors from the first time?? He then asked me again and said are you refusing this delivery? And I said yes, if you are going to demand me to sign a waiver because I am not signing anything. SO I shut my door, I called massage chair planet and they had someone from the delivery company call me. Before that I called the delivery company and asked why they sent the same people when I had been assured that it would be different ones and the dispatch lady started with an attitude voice telling me that I did not get to choose who made my delivery and it was randomly assigned in the mornings. I hung up and then I received a call from a supervisor of the delivery company asking me if they sent a three man crew to my house immediately while the truck was still there on the street would I allow them to deliver the chair. At this point I was so upset and just flabbergasted at the audacity of the crew trying to get me to sign a damage waiver and then the wait of an hour for a new crew to show up, I said no just take it away. I sent it away, I never even had possession of it. The company still has my money and will not issue a refund because they are trying to impose their return policy which included a 3% credit card fee and the original shipping charges. I do not agree with it. I never received the chair and I simply asked to cancel the transaction. They need to seek restitution from the horrible delivery company. I should not have to pay for such bad service. So as of today I still do not have my refund, they are keeping my money hostage and as far as I know they got their chair back. I would Never recommend this place. It was the most negative experience I have had in my life. I have written to customer service several times and they will not refund my money unless I pay for shipping and 3% credit card fee. I do not feel as if this was my fault and I still have scratched up hardwoods as a horrible reminder. No one has contacted me about fixing my floors. Don't buy anything from this company.
