To be quite honest I'm NOT impressed with minisport what so ever. when I ordered my stage 1 kit I did not recieve the air filter that was supposed to come with it, it's been 3 months now and I still haven't recieved it even after I complained. I currently have 194 minisport points which the site will not allow me to spend. I am waiting on 2 Castrol decal stickesr to arrive 'when you get them in stock' from last month. Not impressed what so ever.

Hi Daniel, I'd firstly like to apologise for the mishap with your order in regards to the missing air filter, has this since been resolved and sent out to you? Certain parts were not in stock despite stating online that they were. Ordered several panels,none of which were sent due to the out of stock items. No contact to inform me of this so had to contact the company myself to see where my parts were. Over a week later.

Hi Matthew, I'm sorry to hear of your experience with us. We try our upmost to have stock of everything on our site, however occasionally we do have to wait for them to be delivered from the source manufacturer which unfortunately does add on to our delivery time. I can only apologise that you didn't receive any contact from us to inform you that your order was going to be late, we usually wait until we have it all to ship, however if something is out of stock we can ship the part of the order that we do have in. Parts, as always are quality. I am in Canada and for reasons that do not relate to customer satisfaction or customer service Mini Sport will not ship by Royal Mail. The result-especially with UPS is that we are gouged with unreasonable brokerage fees. Minimum of $25 (even for a $5 part) and scale increases by value. Mini Sport also refuses to note on documents "Parts for Antique Auto" (both cars of mine are 25+years old and therefore antique). As such I am charged duty for parts when I should not be-competent broker would catch that but with the shipping options offered they don't they pay the fees-which they should not-and then charge the customer-efficient for them not the customer who then needs to undo the "work" done by the broker to expedite customs clearance by not doing their job and pointing that there ought not be duty. Incidentally if sent by postal service the brokerage fee is standard $5 and they will make inquiries of the customer when the item in the parcel could fall into a category of duty -parts for newer cars or no duty-parts fr antique cars. They actually do the job of a broker. Bottom line is I will not likely purcaghse from Mini Sport again until they sort out shipping options and listen to customers-owe and check the file I have spent about 5,000 pounds the last 18 months with you (and more than that at other suppliers as I restore a 64 Morris Mini Van. So to summarize great product no interest in the satisfaction of customer once its out the door!

Hi Malcolm, I'm sorry you feel this way about our shipping methods, however as a company on the whole, UPS works out much cheaper for postage on our parts than Royal Mail would, we're constantly working with various freight companies in search of the fastest and cheapest options for shipping to our customers and we can only hope that this is not a problem you encounter in the future should you choose to order from us again. AAU8424 as supplied is not the genuine RHP bearing illustrated on the website catalogue. It is a cheaper copy and the website should say that it is a pattern part being supplied not the genuine article. Had to return mine for a refund, which of course cost me extra postage. If I had known it was a pattern copy I wouldn't have bought it. Disappointed!

The SU carb I purchased arrived defective. I have been requesting resolution since March 23. I am very disappointed in the amount of time it has taken and cannot drive my car until a working product is received. I have sent a pic and video to show the problem. Please expedite me a replacement carb and issue a pick up request for the defective one right away.

Item did not fit vehicle, would have taken some serious modification which I was not willing to do simply as the product was meant to retrofit and because of the cost it had been damaged. Returns processes poor. Took three weeks before getting my money back! Really disappointed.

No reply to several emails 1 week after the order. I just understood of the 5 items ordered was missing after receiving it. No detiver 8 days after accepting to receive the missing set of ordinary spark plugs

It took 3 weeks from order before shipment was sent. Not any warnings about long delay when order was placed, and not any communication about delay.

Ordered a lot of equipment from Minisport in the last few weeks and generally everything has been excellent. I put a poor rating only because of one item which I received yesterday (the Rear Negative Camber and Tracking Brackets) that are not fit for purpose. They are an extremely poor fit (if you can get them on at all) and the thickness of the bracket, plus welded on serrated plate, plus the adjusting plate means that there is insufficient thread left to torque up the nut on the rear suspension arm. I will be sending them back along with a couple of items that we now don't require (my son wants to fit the John Cooper stage 3 kit!) Hope this is of help. Simon

I was messed about regarding some wheels I ordered, on the website kept saying delivery 10-14 days then was told they wasn't in stock, I was that fed up, I got a refund!

1 negative that is not communicating that by not having the product shipment is delayed. 2nd delay receiving payment from sending in my case: 49 days 3rd rising repeatedly from the shipping 3 times

I ordered £640 worth of stuff items were marked as in stock. Except for carpet and roof lining which were said to be 2_3 week special order. I am still waiting seven weeks later for some of my items. A pair of headlamps. Some of the items I have received are cheap nasty junk. But hey ho there you go. I own a restoration bodyshop and will not be using your company again unless I'm really desperate. Communication was terrible not even a quick message to explain the delay. I've had to chase you for seven weeks. Ps where are my headlamps???

Had all parts I needed in stock at a good price however I paid over £17 for next day delivery and was told the next day my items had been dispatched however it hadn't. It took 5 days for me to receive my items and minisport wouldn't refund my delivery charge although it was down to them not dispatching my item on the day I was told and was no fault of the delivery service they use. Unlikely to use minisport again.

I've had it with Minsport. I've been dealing with them since the early 90's and their service becomes worse and worse. Very long delivery times, up to 3 months, while the parts supposed to be in stock. Raising shipping costs twice after the order was made and payed. Poorly fitting products, even after promising they would fit perfectly. Sending the wrong parts, and the list goes on and on. Never any excuse or compensation. Not even a single % of discount after all these years. Why bother? We have Minispares, Somerford and Swiftune, just to mention a few.
