“The 1st disappointment is the $80 fee/tariffs on my $150 order. I had read that going up a size would be best. However, most of the underwear didn’t fit and now can’t be returned because I tried them on. Other stores have figured out how people can try on underwear/swimwear and return them. Sad that this company isn’t one of them. The material is really nice and have cute designs. It’s a shame I can’t use them.”

“The items I ordered ran noticeably larger than expected which led me to return most of my order. Because I ordered from the U.S., the shipment was subject to tariffs and customs fees, which were non-refundable. As a result, the few items I did keep ended up being disproportionately expensive relative to their value. Additionally, their policy of not honoring discounts on exchanged items made it impractical to reorder the correct size. Repurchasing would have required paying full price, now along with additional tariffs and duties, making the total cost unreasonably high. This effectively made continuing to shop with Modibodi economically unfeasible. While I was initially interested in trying the period underwear and swimwear, this experience resulted in a very high cost for what ultimately felt like a trial. Given that there are other brands offering genuinely organic cotton options at more accessible price points, I’ve decided to take my business elsewhere. Overall, this was a disappointing experience, and not one I feel justified the amount I spent. Their customer rep didn’t appear overly forthcoming with helpful solutions to keep my business. Frankly it seemed as though that she didn’t care and couldn’t be bothered by the conundrum. The only thing she did was refund me for 1 pair that I was allowed to keep as per their policy. I understand that the company is not responsible for tariffs, duties, or import fees. However, my overall experience was significantly impacted by inaccurate sizing and a lack of flexibility around pricing and/or to help the customer out.”

“I ordered 2 items, swimwear for my 13 year old daughter. After waiting almost 3 weeks, I was refunded my money with no other contact to say why the order was not being fulfilled. Terrible customer service and so annoyed I have wasted all this time and still no products that are really needed.”

“OK, so I misinterpreted your reviews when people said your sizes run big and ordered two & can’t wear either pair of the swim bottoms. Argh…I’d love to order another bottom in another size up but the extra $65 shipping & fees to the U.S. are just too expensive. I did sell one bottom online which helped recoup some money. Your shipping fees are just too expensive to ship products back. Frustrating. It’s cheaper to order from Knix brand in Canada as they cover return shipping fees.”
