“My husband and I discovered and enjoyed the Monarch Cypress sheets at a B&B we stayed in this summer. We investigated where to find them and ordered them on the way home from our stay! They arrived 2 days later so service and delivery was excellent. They were packed beautifully too....it was almost sad to have to take them apart and put them on our bed. The fabric we loved is just as wonderful but they don't fit our bed well. I guess hotel queens are somewhat bigger or I don't know, but they are way too big for our mattress. They hang way too long on the sides and the bottom sheet ripples in the middle from not being able to pull them to the top and bottom tight enough to make them lie straight. So in the end we still love the sheets but just were disappoined with the fit.”
“I love Monarch!!! I love everything I have purchased from you. I first saw your name on a hotel bathrobe in a Niagra Falls Hotel. I looked you up immediately and purchased a bathrobe. That was about 10 years ago. Since then I have become an AirBNB host and I use them in all my homes! I love the new ones I got. They have a plush collar, however they are lightweight enough to dry quickley. So important for the homes we host!”

There are two options for sheets, microfiber(polyester) and cotton/lyocell versions. You ordered the cotton/lyocell version. You probably used the microfiber version at the hotel. That is probably why you think (correctly) that they are not the same. The sheets you purchased, however, are actually a higher quality than the microfiber as they are made with natural fibers and not polyester.

He loves the robe I gave him from the hotel in Galveston. It's been a few years since I bought the robe from the hotel and I wanted to get him another one for his birthday. I searched the Monarch Cypress website to make sure I would order the same robe. It's not the same. Maybe the the robes made for the hotels are higher quality. Somewhat disappointed.”
Thank you for your review. You are correct that there are two different versions of the robe you purchased. Both are offered on our web site. One is the "basic" waffle and one is the "classic" waffle. Most hotels purchase the classic version as it is slightly heavier and is slightly different in its cotton content and is more expensive. You purchased the basic version that is slightly lighter and less expensive.
“The white one has snaps instead of velcro which will last much longer. Also, the wraps have enough material that when you are sitting you are still covered. The quality of the toweling is excellent.”
