“In July, R900 was debited from my bank account twice, and I reversed one payment a few days later. In my October statement, MRP claimed that they never received the other payment. I've sent them proof of both and my bank statement. I even went to my bank to get a confirmation letter that one of the payments settled into MRP's account in July.
Their "superhero agents" refuse to assist or investigate where the money is. Now I lost R900, and they want me to pay the same amount again when their system took the payment. On the 5th of November, I saw someone writing a review that they had the same experience in May, and in October, MRP wanted to notify them that one payment was missing.
I'm closing my MRP account immediately and wouldn't recommend anyone to open an MRP account. THEY ROB PEOPLE OF THEIR HARD-EARNED MONEY AND REFUSE TO NOTICE THEIR MISTAKES!”

“So i ordered like last week and they said the delivery will be on Friday Wednesday I get a message it's out for delivery. Friday still no delivery. The delivery date is on Friday so I whatsapp them to find out where my delivery is they say itsbout for delivery(without my status being updated). This morning still no delivery. I hopped back on whatsapp this person repeats the same things "they only deliver on weekdays" I'm like okay but WHAT is the delay se says ahe doesn't know and can't follow up during the weekends. I say okay but whatbis the delay why did they not deliver. Same thing "they don't deliver on weekends" I told her/him yes I know. Then I was told that they don't have a reason on their side?? Doesn't it show why? She also told me that they only make 3 attempts. I asked her what if it's not my fault and they fail 3 times then there will be a reason. Pathetic MRP has lost it”
“I am from South Africa and wanted to shop online for my grandkids pike l do with other online South African shops. I went to their website and bagged clothes for R150. I then went to check out and it had emptied my bag and a message popped up to say happy shopping. To say l was disappointed is an understatement. I had taken my time browsing and then they pull that trick on me. My grandkids love Mr Price and was going to surprise them with a special delivery. Please review your set up The world has become one large family through technology don’t be left behind”
“I had ordered from the online services, Made my first return at the store(Gateway), there were 4 items under that order, So I returned 2 out of 4 due to sizing issues. Then out of the 2 items I had kept I decided to make a return of the t-shirt cause it did not fit right. Again I made my way to the store to make a return, First person was not able to assist me since they could not find my online slip that they have kept(don't know for what reason), Was told to wait while someone else had to go look for it in some storage room. I could not wait any longer cause I was rushing for work. Went back the second time and there was an issue because I did not have my bank card. Went back for the 3rd time and still there was an issue, was told that the supervisor who was helping me the previous day was off and they could not reach out to her. Finally got my money back though. The service was horrible though, Had to wait for more than 30 minutes just to receive my credit back for a return.”
“I was at Mr Price Tygervalley yesterday. We waited in the queue for almost ten minutes. Behind us were a
twelve people. Only one person was working at the cash register, but there were no less than seven employees standing behind the counter. When I asked the manager (I believe his name is Derrick) what was going on he very rudely starting talking at me making nonsense excuses. This is the second time this has happened at the same branch. I am highly disappointed, as I am a big supporter of Mr Price. The behavior of the manager was highly unprofessional and extremely rude. There were people behind us who actually put down the clothes they wanted to purchase and left. I can't even give a one star rating. Zero stars. Mr Price Tygervalley gets zero stars. Customer service is everything. I am posting this review on as many platforms as I can.”

“In the time of covid my businesses were closed and I had a hard time paying my full accounts but still I tried and kept to the arrangements that I phoned and made with Mr Price account dept. When my businesses opened again I paid off my full account by their request and was told once this was done I could use my facility again. I paid it off and phoned them. I was told I could now use my card again. Last weekend I went to a store to buy a few items only to be told that my account had no available credit and my account could no longer be used. In other words I was conned into paying off my account to the tune of 5720 rand. I think your accounts department are a joke and will say anything just to get money out your loyal customers even in this difficult time”

But then I was struck down with Covid19. 2 weeks later I received an email saying my employment had been terminated, even though I had presented medical certs. Dont be decieved in the interview, its a horrible company to work for.”
