“I was at the Galleria Mrp this morning around 10am. I had a skirt to exchange and I also bought a few other stuff, which I paid in the difference for. I am a regular at this store. After I had made my purchase I stepped into Mrp home it was convient for me to use the entrance there. I went in to purchase diffuser refills. On my way out off Mrp home. The security lady from mrp clothing was standing at the door waiting for me, she asked to search my bags. I was shocked and didnt want to cause a scene so I let her do what she wanted to do. Then I asked her why did you follow me do you think I stole something and she just stared at me as if I was a thief. I would like for the management off Mrp Clothing to follow up on as to why I was followed by the security lady. I await your feedback. I was totally embarrassed as she searched my bags in front off other customers and staff or Mrp home. This is NOT acceptable and this is not how Mrp treats they customers. Im totally embarrassed and angry off the way I was treated today by the security lady.”
“I had made a delivery on the 1st of October estimated arrival was the 8th I haven’t received it mind you they say their door to door option takes 4-7 working days and this just contradicts the whole 4-7 working days they have on description”

I phoned the customer service line they told me that they waiting on Pargo to collect the parcel on the 7th I phoned them again and now all of a sudden the parcel is being packed after so many days! “I used Mr Price Clothing online because the nearest Mr Price Clothing at Tygervalley, Bellville is not up to date the last +- 3 years. I love Oakridge and the shoes but now a days there are no dresses or shoes to buy only teenagers skinny dresses and accessories. Online, I still can buy my favorites, sometime on promo. The Courier Mr Price use is always a day or two late. I luckily received the right items.”
“I am sad to say but the quality of your products is shocking. They don't last a month, the sewing is horrendous, the one pocket is more forward than the other, the seams don't line up and are not straight.
I also have a problem with your interest charges etc. I don't know why you charge such a high interest rate!!”

“I usually like going to Mr Price in Killarney but the guy who served us was really rude and inappropriate. At first I thought he was joking and we had a lot of stuff so we were polite, nodding and packing but he just kept on talking weird stuff that I thought a sales assistant shouldn't really say. Afterwards I was regretting I should have told him that was inappropriate instead of playing along to keep the peace and get out of there quick as we could but we won't be shopping there again after it.”
“I have been waiting for 2 weeks for my order, I am going into the 3rd week now.
They told us to support local but, Mr Price online is horrible, Shein and Temu provide better service than them. The customer care is horrible, I have been waiting for 2 weeks for my order and every conversation I have with customer service, they are condescending.
They said my order was delayed because of weather, mind you the weather has been bad and its getting worse because we are going into winter. So basically my order isn't coming until summer.
This has been the worst experience ever considering I ordered winter stuff from them. I have never been stressed and at the same time treated like I am incompetent by the very same people causing me stress.
I have never in my life felt it necessary to leave a review no matter how bad the service was, but this has been the worst experience I have personal had with a company.”
“The Mr price men's range use to be fashionable, good quality and excited. When I say this I refer to prior to Covid-19 because after covid there is no more excitement to go into a Mr price store because the clothes only caters fashion for one age group there is no variety like before. It is actually sad that more and more people tend to go with Shein instead of supporting local but then on the other you cannot blame because we not getting free clothes from Mr price we pay and to pay for clothes that looks boring is disappointing.”

Context – My daughter went to the branch in 3 Rivers mall with a friend. As they got to the door, a staff member, female, started chatting to my daughter’s friend, and told the friend to tell my daughter she is not permitted to enter, no reason given.
Since my daughter is passive, she left, but explained the situation to me in confusion that same evening. I managed to get a complaint through and the area manager Renier contacted me via the formal routes (website). He showed initial interest in getting to the bottom of the issue. After that, it was difficult to get anything out of him, as I suspect the “I’ve done my part” mentality had kicked in as his response was “its been escalated to the store’s Ops manager”. The last communication was the 20th of Feb. I DID have one email say that they “couldn’t get through on the cell number provided”. Irony is every other person I know gets a hold of me perfectly fine on the number Renier got, on cellular or whatsapp! What a lame excuse! At this point I only care for an email apology and explanation!”
