“Muddy paws in tulsa ok is joke. I made the mistake of giving them 3 months of my free labor from 7am to 530pm 5 days a week doing their so called dog grooming school. I was sabotaged by lead teacher and receptionist.. was told I was not to come back for a month and later found out the women who told me that told everyone at the school I quit and was no longer there. They pick and choose who gets stipen checks while going to school there. I drove an hour one way so 2 hours drive time wasted my time and gas and slaved for them harder than anyone else while they used me for free labor. I tried to continue doing community service there per court order and was ran off by Lori running the front and Kristen the lead groomer backing her horrendous extremely weird and down right disgusting attacks on me. I'm sorry but when you allow people at your business to bully and constant issues with one person and you stand behind that person then change your name. Your not helping people at all. You've actually made the most negative impact on my life the horrible treatment allowed bc people are friends. When Kristen was made aware of the disgusting treatment her response was Lori is the best person I know. She should not be running this program. She has proved she is about keeping friends with one of the most awful human beings I've met yet instead to address the problem like it should have been. Then to top it off I took my poor jack there for a groom. And I can say without a doubt they abused and tortured my poor baby. He was scared to death when I picked him up and he took nearly two weeks to get back to as close to his old self as he ever will be. He's still not the same. I took videos from the moment I picked him up and still take them weekly to have the evidence I need to prove they have ruined my precious babies spirit and they are covering it up for each other. They charged me 80 for a shave down on a 12 pound dog. Didn't trim his nails didn't clean his sanitary and had the nerve to lie to me and my boyfriend and tell us we need to have our dog sedated for grooms bc it's so dangerous for him and my boyfriend said why bc he's vocal bc he's the most vocal dog you will ever Meet and the dark haired women up front said no and boyfriend said from there your a liar. I don't believe a word you say bc you just lied and said our boy wasn't vocal which he is. So vocal most have never seen a dog like jack. It's just who he is and he talks to everyone. They are liars and thieves and they take advantage of good peoples time and kindness. I have donated household items clothes dog items numerous times as well as fed the girls lunch once a week in the time I was a student there just to be kind bc that's who I am and nobody appreciated a thing and they are just phoney and fake to me and I get sick thinking of how many good women tried to be a part of this that were intentionally sabotaged by women who are threatened by pristine work ethics and people like me who go above and beyond that made the lazy ones look bad so they had to run me out in fear they would be replaced and that's the most ungodly way to be or live or to be supported to be that kind of person. This place has let me down more than I can count and when they physically abused my dog I would like nothing more than to see people in jail and all animals to be taken from their care and their doors closed. This is not what people think it is. It's front and phoney business and people need to pay attention to the details and more than anything to your pets behavior at pick up that tells you all you need to know.”

ALL of my friends with never donate to them again. Go to the Nebraska Humane Society if you want to rescue a dog. NHS is a kill shelter. You would literally save the dog's life. Muddy Paws only likes dogs and cats are not welcome or rescued.”
“I hv dealing with Muddy paws in Elderton Ontario for more than a year. I was very happy with the service first. Last time I sent my dog there, they butcher my dogs hair and I was complaining about it but with a good manners. I don’t remember I gave tips or not because I was very upset. Everybody makes mistakes, and dogs hair eventually will grow back. So I decided to go back to give them another try. Plus I always to support local businesses especially run by women. So I called trying to make an appointment for mine and my son’s dog. I called and left then 5 voice messages. Guess what, NO ONE gets back to me.. I even texted the owner and provided her my phone number. Still nothing. It’s not a good business models for the company not get back to clients even you don’t want them to be clients. In service business, you cannot expect 5 starts rating all the time. People gave Struct of criticism because they want you to do better..

“Told my dog to shut up numerous times as I looked at merchandise. When she screamed shut up I am tired of hearing you. I came around the corner and said we are ready to go. She blamed me saying she didn’t know I was here getting her riled up. Unbelievable! I wonder how she treats the animals when she thinks the shop is empty of customers. Do not bring your babies here.”
“This company upsold me without confirmation. They did two different charges to do so and then offered me a discount after asking for a refund 3 times. I finally said sure but then never followed through with the refund.”
“Wouldnt recommend it, did good for awhile then made an appt and when it came time they acted like i never made an appt with them and there was nothing they could do. Frustrated i simply said never mind then. An enitre 2 or so years later called to give them another chance and was told they couldnt see my two dogs due to multiple no shows. I wont get into the pettiness of it but there was one time they somehow made a mistake and didnt schedule my dogs and when i said dont worry about it i guess they marked me as someone they wouldnt deal with again. Horrible for a small town business and some of the worst customer service/service in general i have ever had. From here on out i will use and always recommend someone else.”
“I had a extremely heartbreaking experience at Muddy Paws in Fargo, ND. My 7-month-old puppy passed away due to reference by the vet was due to choking during the grooming process. Do your research! I don't want any other puppy or dog to get injured or to pass away.”
“Very very disappointed with Birchen grove muddy paws, will not use them again.
Brought my bichon to be groomed the groomer, said she had a few mats underneath her legs and they will have to be cut off, said that’s not a problem just don’t cut her to the bone. I told her I had bushed her through the night before. Just kept repeating “if she is matted it will have to be cut”
Dropped her off at 11am and was told I’ll call you at 1pm
It took the groomer just under 90 mins to groom and call me.
Normally it would take 2 hours.
When I collected my dog I was informed that it took “LONGER THAN NORMAL” as there was matting on her chest which she brushed out. I was charged extra for this. She then proceeded to tell me that my dogs claws were so long that they were curling under her pads. Yet I had just cut them a couple of months before.
Very disappointing as their whole attitude to the customer has changed and not for the better.”

“The Birchen Grove Centre, Excellent welcome, friendly and professional staff. Had grooming services in other salons but has never been good result. At Muddy Paws my dog was relaxed and happy, with the Best cut he has ever had! Would highly recommend. Thank you Muddy Paws staff!”
“I have never written a bad review for any business before. I was so disappointed today! They actually did a good job on my puppy for the first couple of cuts. I brought a picture and was specific about what I wanted. When I called to make her apt. I told them that I wanted the same person and exactly what they have done in the past. She did have a few tangles today. My son brought her in because I was at work. After he dropped her off, they called him and told him so was so matted she needed to be shaved. They shaved her so short I cried when I saw her. They even shaved her face. She was unrecognizable. When I called to see what had happened, they said she was all matted and it would have been too painful to brush....like she had been living on the streets and hadn’t been brushed for a month. When in reality, she had a bath yesterday because she had muddy paws. I didn’t want my cavachon to look like a rat terrier, but that is what I got unfortunately. My dog’s cut doesn’t have to be perfect. I know dog grooming can be a challenge. I just didn’t expect what I got today.”

“My dog, Max, has been going for group dog walks twice a week with Carla. She is great and Max LOVES her (almost more than me I think!!). She is so careful to only pair him with dogs that will accept him and play nice. He is super friendly 7 month old and can sometimes be annoying to other older dogs. She knows how to read these dogs and will not chance any sort of questionable behavior from the dogs. I can totally trust her with Max and know he will be in good hands.
Jena has also been very responsive to emails and messages and is very helpful in arranging Max's walks. I highly recommend them!!”

This company are soo rude to their customers, I dropped my dog off for a groom, (I was told would take 2 hours). Two hours came and went without a call to say they would be longer. He was finally ready after 3 hours and 20 minutes.
When I arrived they charged me £80 instead of £50 because he was "worse than normal" and took them longer, I informed them he was about the same condition as the time before and that it took them 3 hours on that occasion so it didn't make sense.
To then be told he pooed in the cage and they had to bath him twice.
No phone call was given to let me know any of this, and the guy I collected him from blamed me. Saying I didn't take him for a long enough walk before dropping him off.
I would understand if it was a little more money as I have experienced this with other groomers charging more for matting ect. but they call first or discuss extra charges with you when you drop the dog off.
I had informed them when dropping him off that he had two matts behind his ears they said nothing about extra charges!
Absolutely shocking service! Made me feel awful.
Newsflash....Dogs poo sometimes I shouldn't be charged £30 because of it!”
“I did not receive my goods or a refund after numerous attempts. I have informed trading standards and I am trying to get my money back from my credit card compsny. A couple of people on Trustpilot have said the company is about to go into liquidation. Can't say I am surprised. A bad experience.”
