“Lovely smooth chocolate flavour, however it’s a little too sweet. Why not make it a little less sweet and then you can add more sugar if required?? Once the sugar is in you can’t undo the sweetness, what a pity.”

“The service was quick to place the order and receive the pods. Unfortunately the pods do not taste nice, the opposite in fact. I've tried it with milk and still no luck.”

“Love the coffee caramel and chocolate caramel pods had an issue with two of the aromatico pods overall they are good pods with great coffee and hot chocolate with caramel”

Hi Vivienne, sorry to hear we didn't quite hit the mark to get a 4 or 5 star. With our chocolate pods the smaller the shot the stronger the flavour so worth trying that to get the stronger flavour you are looking for. We look forward to seeing you again soon.

“I bought diferent chocolate pods, I hoped they would include some milk powder”

“Jury still out on these. I did check that they worked on automatic machines before I purchased. Not sure they are 100% compatible as often water come out of pod a lot before coffee comes through. Resulting in a weaker coffee.”

“I thought the sugar free Chocolatepods had no sweetener of any kind not just no sugar. They just tasted of artificial sweetener. Sorry but we all eat too much sugar of any kind we need to teach our palettes to eat food without sugar or sweetener in. The service from this company was excellant and I will try the coffee pods in the future”

“I thought the Hot Chocolate pods could be used (and would be good as well) with water. My Nespresso only has a water tank attached. I thought that making it with milk was only recommended, but the first thing I saw on the boxes was "Add hot or cold milk". I feel that it could have been made more clear on the site that you actually have to use milk for the hot chocolate pods. It's confusing when there's a category named milkshakes, and another one that says hot chocolate pods. In hindsight I wouldn't have bought 5 boxes of hot chocolate pods, if I knew that making it with milk is the only way.”

Hi Heidi, The hot chocolate pods can be used just with water. The "Just add hot or cold milk" note is only our suggestion as this is how they are best served based on customer feedback, and like most hot chocolates. As for our site, we have a milkshake range as well as a hot chocolate range which is why both options are there. I apologise that you feel you bought too many. “Delivery was very quick. Sadly though I don't like the chocolate capsules they are rather weak and had to use 2 each time. I do like the coffee capsules though.”

Thanks for your review and feedback. We cant always please everyone's tastes and there is only so much cocoa that can fit in a pod - however the smaller the "shot" the stronger the taste and simply fill up with milk. We hope that helps and look forward to seeing you again.

“Mugpods' Mint Hot Chocolate tastes nice enough, but it seems a bit daft that they recommend using two pods to get a half-decent cup - why not increase the cocoa concentration in the pod so that you only need one "shot" for a cup of hot chocolate? The recommendation was entirely accurate, as with only one pod the hot chocolate didn't have enough flavour. All in all, not a bad product, but be aware that each cup will cost twice as much as you thought!”

Hello and thank you for taking the time to review us. Getting the concentration of cocoa/sugar to be mixed with the water in a very small pod designed for espressos takes some doing! We always welcome feedback on how to improve them. As you have put - we recommend a small shot (about a third of a mug) and fill up with milk, the smaller the shot the stronger the flavour - indeed large mugs may need two pods. “The coffee tastes ok, the only thing I can think of to improve the product would be to label the individual pods so you can tell what they are when stored in something other than its box.”

Thanks for taking the time to review us, having labels on the pods is one of our priorities and im pleased to say labels will be on all of our pods foils within the next few months! Hopefully the next time you order you will see them and perhaps it will push your rating above 3 stars :)

“I ordered a selection of the chocolate pods to try. Honestly I haven't been overly impressed with the flavour so far. I've found I've needed to use a minimum of two pods for each drink to even be able to taste the chocolate. I don't think these are something I would repurchase.”

Hi Laura, Thanks for your review, sorry you haven't been enjoying the flavour of the pods. We recommend you do a small shot (around a third) of the bottom of your mug and fill up with warm milk. Thanks for reviewing us - as you can imagine a Nespresso pod only has room for a small amount of chocolate so we recommend an espresso sized shot and fill up with milk. For large mugs you may need two! We currently have 5 flavours of hot choc but if you have a great idea feel free to send it over :) We hope to see you again soon to try our other products including coffees and milkshakes.
