“The process worked fine, except for the fact that they have sent me 18 emails in 1 day asking for feedback. I’ve marked them as poor for that reason. If they hadn’t had annoyed me with emails, it would be a 5/5!”

Due to a technical error, our email had sent a number of duplicates and we sincerely apologise for the inconvenience and frustration this caused. “It took several days after music magpie received the items to contact me regarding any issues and then a further few days to let me know the items were being processed and sharing a further few days before I received the money, even though they advertise the process as payment being sent the same day they receive the items.”

Hello Francesca, We're sorry to learn your experience was not positive. Having looked into your order, we received four boxes for your order but not all of the items in your order were present. We allowed for another working day before informing you in case an additional box reached us then - typically, when a number of boxes are sent together, they do not reach us at the one time. We emailed you on 26/7/18 at 9.33am to let you know we hadn't received a number of items listed in the order. We received correspondence from you later that day to confirm the items were not sent. The order was raised with the relevant manager to be completed, and payment was made on 31/7/18. Payment via bank transfer can take a working day to clear. Same day payment is eligible the day we receive your items provided the order is complete. As your order was incomplete, the process was elongated. Kind regards, mM CS

“in this age of technology you guys have made it so easy for idiots like me to do a few clicks and parcel a box up and a few days later get money in my bank account. I managed to watch 2 movies at home while loading up barcodes of dvds that had been sitting in dust on my bookcase for 3 years. Film night in, declutter of my bookcase and kerching money in my pocket. life doesn't get much better - thank you magpie!”

“Very good service. Only issue is the relentless nature of emails asking for feedback - sent every five minutes to clog up your inbox until you give in! A shame you allow this to happen, Music Magpie - you would have got 5 stars if you hadn’t taken such a poor, automated approach to seeking this customer’s views. Anything more than a couple of requests begins to feel like harassment!”

“Quick and speedy service. Very easy to use with the app to scan items in. Lots of informative emails sent as to when things would happen and everything happened when MusicMagpie said it would. Need to find some more stuff to sell now!”

“Sold a Samsung Galaxy S9 with Music Magpie, everything went very smooth, was given the price they originally quoted and received payment within 24 hours of them receiving the phone. I did look at other sites that were offering a higher price for the phone but most of them had poor reviews that when the company receive the phone they downgrade the price offered - certainly not the case with Music Magpie. Also bought an iPhone 8 through Music Magpie and again excellent service and prompt delivery, will not hesitate to use or recommend in the future”

Some items may have been bought used but that is hard to tell with the quality of the purchases I have made. And fast delivery, usually 5 - 7 business days ? Never more than 3 with me !
