“What a useless report and complete waste of money, the mileage quoted was wrong and all over the place, looked like the car had been clocked, also it indicated the car had been mot'd twice each year, and had passed on both occasions. In the end I got a report off the rac, this one proved to be accurate went on to purchase the car. I checked the mileage on the service manual and mot certificates which supported the later report”

Good morning, Thank you for your feedback I have started a investigation into the data we have on this vehicle, Some of the double records are correct because the garages in question will supply two entries one from the data base and one from the VOSA system. However I am looking at the report and once I have more feedback for you I will email you back, With regards to RAC they do not get the MOT data as they are not one the Allowed companies to have access to this information however I will come back to you once I know more, KInd regards Richard Customer care

“I no there is finance still outstanding on my car but can’t rember how much so I’m confused as to why I’ve paid the 9.99 and says you can pull up this information and you can’t so I want my money refunded or I’ll have no choice to look at legal proceedings against yourself for false advertising kind regards mr David fraser and this is with regards to my Hyundai lx35 reg sb62 kdz My email fraser1690@live.co.uk”

“mycarcheck.com provided me with incorrect information which helped a garage con me in to buying a car that I did not want (the garage and mycarcheck.com stated the car was the top of the range model I wanted to buy but it was not). When I tried to claim on their guarantee that they provide the correct information the biased company that investigate (paid by them) made all the excuses under the sun why my claim would not be accepted even though I proved that I had been give incorrect information. Anyone who looks at mycarcheck.com and feels safer because of the guarantee look closely at the pages of terms and conditions that allows them not to pay out if they give the wrong information to you. The guarantee is an absolute joke.”

“Do not waste your time here, if only i had read the reviews first. No mot history or mileage history?? Ridiculous!!!..Information i can get myself from the dvla for free. The sample reports are very misleading. What a waste of money, £9.99 for the so called "gold service", I will not be recommending to friends or family. Whats the old saying "you pay nothing you get nothing" Well i got heff all”

Good morning, Thank you for your feedback, At present we are aware of a issue through not showing MOT data on checks and this is down to DVLA and VOSA changing the way they supply the Data and we are testing this new way of them supplying the Data again very soon, If you would like I can email you a copy from the VOSA website, Our mileage data is supplied by third parties but we do advice on the website that is this down to availability and not every vehicle will have this data. “I needed to check the engine number and it was indicated to be included in the sample report. No engine number was listed in the report. Consequently the report was useless to me and disappointing. Wasted my money I'm afraid”

“I could have got all the info and more free online from another website. The sample report that I viewed before I purchased was long and detailed, what I actually received after my payment was scarce and very lacking in detail. I feel that I wasted my money, if you are thinking of purchasing, look elsewhere first!”

“No info at all or its not corect and charging moneys for that what you can get for free. For example car co2 emision is 159g but in your system is shows 153g and thats popular car like vw... Im not talking about imported cars or even american in that case gonna be absolutely wrong everything”

Good afternoon, Thank you for the feedback but I have looked at the details held and they are the same as DVLA Swansea in which the vehicle in questions shows as having 153g on the Co2 emisions, I hope with this information we can have your feedback re-done as the information we have is correct, Kind regards Richard Customer care

“Complied with all the requests from the company and everything was agreed and finalised unroll the point of paying out. Then there was an excuse about my driving licence which I confirmed with the DVLA that there was no issue. They just wanted me to take out amigo loan to buy the bike. Totally avoid evolution finance trading as my car credit.”

“The worst service you may get Bought a car after doing the check and got the HPI Clear certificate even talked to a staff member who confirmed that, then when I took the car to a local dealer as a P/X they gound that it got an outstanding finance. I tried to complain to My Car Check so they refered ne to a Claim company eho told me to provide a load of doc which I did, but nothing happened. I feel like being scammed .”

“I purchased my Vauxhall Insignia 2.0 SRI estate on the strength of the results of the certificate I received for My Car Check. To find out when I came to sell it it still had finance owing on it. This company is a total shambles providing incorrect information.”
