Please see the below email. I was supposed to be proposing and book my weekendin Wales to so: Ordered ring for big proposal coming at the end of august. Message received stating that wouldnt be ready when should have been and my big plan away and proposal is now not happening. Please see email below from them and dont take the chance: Hi Andrea, I am afraid I am the bearer of bad news. The ring came back from assay and the wor shop finished the ring but I am unhappy with it and after discussing it with Peter we are re-making the ring for you. Unfortunately this means it will be another 2 weeksTruly I am very sorry for the delay, but I know this ring is for a very special occasion and we want it to be perfect for you.

Hi Andrea, We are very sorry that we were unable to get your ring ready in time for your proposal. It is our priority to ensure that nothing leaves our workshop without meeting the strictest quality controls. As we were unable to meet our target shipping date we have now refunded your order in full.

My complaint isn’t about the customer service it’s just the quality of the ring. They did a good job on the ring and sized it correctly and it was what I expected when I received it. However, only 2 weeks after our wedding the ring started turning black and tarnishing and I have never had something that’s supposed to be sterling silver do that. Ever. And now, 2 months later my ring looks terrible and ruined and I have never used any harsh chemicals or anything on it. It was a waste of money. My husbands ring has done the exact same thing. I’m very disappointed we spent as much as we did.

I received my fiance wedding ring, it was beautiful but did not fit. To small. My fiance had his finger sized by a jeweler in the US. I believed it could be sized up to one size according to what I read on line. I had a special ogham put on the ring. It is a very small design that could be changed or buffed out. It was never explained that this ring COULD NOT be sized and COULD NOT be returned. So I am screwed. Be should you clarify before you purchase from this company.

My experience with this company was an absolute nightmare. Noticed several manufactures defects in a ring. They refused to honor their one year quality gaurantee. Essentially pretending it didn't exist. I had to send a screen shot of it. The most disrespectful irrational person I have a had the displeasure of dealing with. For the record it was the owner Peter Gavin himself too. The phone call, series of photos, emails I had with him will make your stomach turn. Here is the picture I was sent to prove my ring is up to snuff. (My ring is dull because it was worn but that does not void the warranty) . You can clearly see the joint is defective as well as the crown. At the very least. I also attached the ring as presented on the website, and a picture of the warranty. He has Ignored my latest inquiries entirely. Last thing he said was that he expects me to send him 30 more dollars, the rings are designed that way (my ring looks different from the one he put it next to in the picture which is supposed to show how my ring is fine/ they both look different from the website which is in the following picture). It's disgraceful. And I didn't even think I would talk to anyone. I thought I would just get a new or fixed ring in the mail. The worst treatment I have ever received by far. The only reason he has good reviews on his website is because he posts them. Customers cant.

I am sorry that I was unable to reach an understanding with this customer. The customer returned a Claddagh Ring after 6 months of wear. The ring was not found to be faulty and I refused to replace the ring under these circumstances. We stand by our 1-year quality guarantee which protects our customers in situations where jewelry breaks, or gemstones fall out. As a gesture of goodwill, I am polishing and returning the customer's ring at my own expense. Peter Gavin

At the moment I have not received the cross and chain, it should have arrived Friday 3rd July, we paid the extra postage with Fedex delivery as we were going away on Saturday 4th July, however it did not arrive on the said day, we arrived home today 11th July and are hoping a neighbour has taken in the package as yet know one has come round with it, I will wait until tomorrow to see if anyone has it. It is a present for my Husband for Monday 13th July so do hope someone has taken it in. Yvonne Preece

Hi Yvonne, This is very unusual. We shipped by FedEx 10 days ago and they usually deliver in 24 hours to UK. I have called FedEx this morning to find out what has happened. I tried to call you myself just now but the phone number we have for you does not seem to be correct. Hi Emilio, I am extremely sorry about your order and the problem we have had with this particular pair of earrings you requested. Unfortunately it was not one of the items that we manufacture in house and therefore we were in the hands of our supplier. As I told you on the phone you were quite welcome to a refund in this case, but you opted to await the delivery, end of January. Unfortunately the supplier has still not delivered and I think its best to cancel the order and refund you in full. This is not normally our way but I do not want to let you down further.
