“I love metabolic meals and originally found them when I was searching for a seed oil free (no bad oils) option and I actually don’t know of one other that uses the level of clean ingredients with as many choices on a weekly basis that they do. I always love that you aren’t required to get a membership. My wife and I order just about every other week and will order at least 15 items and freeze any we don’t plan on eating by the expiration date and they are just as good when you unfreeze them as they are fresh.
They also have the best customer service I’ve ever seen with any online retailer. Kudos to the MM team!”

I've tried other services without the delivery fee, but the quality wasn't as good. It's easy for my daughter to take them to work for her lunches, just put them in the microwave. However, the packaging is horrific and it takes me forever to rip into this plastic container and peel off the film that feels like it's been sealed with cement. I also hate that the package comes with three huge blocks of ice, they're incredibly difficult to dispose of and are also wasteful. That part could use improvement.”

Metabolic Meals are typically higher in protein and lower in carbohydrates and fats compared to other pre-made meal services. I appreciate the convenience of scanning a barcode in MyFitnessPal to track macronutrients and calories for each meal and the simplicity of heating them for just two minutes in the microwave.
While Metabolic Meals are on the expensive side, their pricing is comparable to other services. However, one downside is the minimum order requirement of 15 meals to qualify for free shipping, which otherwise costs $19.95. Additionally, I do wish the chefs would expand their menu, as I often see the same meals repeated every few weeks. More variety and choices would be great.
One feature I particularly value is the subscription-free membership, which ensures I only receive meals when I order them. Overall, I believe Metabolic Meals are a worthwhile investment for those starting their nutrition journey or those who lack the time or finances to cook homemade meals regularly.”

Some people complain about the price of these meals but I have peace of mind knowing I'm ordering grass fed meals without seed oils that are caloric friendly and taste like a home cooked meal, so I say it's worth it!! The packaging is somewhat difficult to open so I just cut the package open transfer food to a plate and heat up. I don't heat plastic so packaging doesn't matter to me but might to others.
Some people also complain about the shipping cost but I have found on weeks where I love most of the meals I just order enough to get free shipping and freeze the extras, sometimes I'll pay the shipping just because it saves me the work I'd have to do at home to prepare an entire weeks food, and sometimes I skip the week if I'm not feeling the choices. So far it's the only company I've been willing to pay shipping for, enjoy most of the meals, and has good ingredients! Never any ingredients I can't pronounce! As long as they stay true to that I will be a loyal customer. One of the best companies I've tried! Highly recommend!”
