“The labels are super and stick to clothing and plastics. They have not come off my little ones clothes in 2 years. Also delighted that the company responded to my requests about font . However disappointed that the new ' sun lotion proof ink' does not seem to work, as the ink has rubbed off in only a week.”

Thanks for taking the time to leave a review, Lise. We are sorry you have had some problems with suncream. We have tested the ink with all the main brands of children's suncream and it is fine. However there are some alcohol-based sprays and creams which can cause problems but these are not sold for use on children. Please can you get in touch so we can investigate further.

“Good product, value for money and quality HOWEVER, the previous Stikins for clothes that were not iron on ones,which unfortunately do not seem to be available anymore, were equally as good and it is a real bind having to get the iron and board out every time you want to stick one label on.”

Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback. We have two types of name labels: Stikins and Trons. The iron-on ones you refer to (Trons) were introduced to respond to requests for labels for clothes which don't have wash care labels but Stikins are still definitely available and can be used on the wash care labels of clothes, items which go in the dishwasher, shoes and all other personal items.

“Purchased both Stickins and Trons for our Mother entering a care home. Arrived very quickly which was excellent. Took some time to get the hang of picking up the Stickins without them creasing on the edge, eventually got the hang of it but not before wasting rather a lot. The Trons were quite tricky but have all stuck on well. I would suggest that the silicon paper is pre cut or perforated as cutting it all up took time. Overall good products, have only just attached them so can't say how long they will last, but recommended by my daughter who has used them for some time on her sons school uniforms.”

“These labels are good and I use them on everything - school clothes, shoes, lunchboxes. But the 'original' design were better -please bring them back. The wrap around style just never came off, and they could be put on shirts which need ironing!”

“Good labels so much easier than old fashioned sew in or iron on . However they're not as long lasting as previous "H" design which were pretty indestructible. Be careful not to touch with the iron as this can melt them. Overall love the handiness but prefer quality of old style..”

“Haven't ordered labels for along time from Label Planet. Found they had stopped manufacturing the Stikins labels which where a 'H' shape along with the various sizes labels which seem to fit any of your clothing and shoes requirements. So i was disappointed with the standard sizes they have now replaced them with. However still does the same job.......”

Sorry to hear your labels have rubbed off in your daughter's shoes - we do recommend that they are placed under the tongue or in the side rather than under the heel where there is more pressure.

“Everything was great about my order except for 2 things: Not delivering during easter holiday isn't great when getting ready with warm weather uniforms, shoes etc. Additionally 1 of the labels was damaged.”

“Rapid service! Reordered more labels as used before....I use on school clothes and dance clothes which get washed alot! I always label my girls clothes when they go away on residential school trips and even sleepovers.....the labels are so clear so items are usually always returned. Not given full stars as I've had a couple of stickers rolling at the edges but that may be due to how I stuck them on! Ooh....stick on water bottles that go in the dishwasher........ stay stuck and do not fade! I will use again and again!”

“Hi, The labels are arrived promptly and are just as expected. I have used a couple already and I can tell the adhesive will do the job. Good quality product. With two daughters and having ordered many labels in the past of varying designs and colours (but none that stay on) these were not greeted with great enthusiasm. Perhaps in time you will introduce this to your product line. But for me a label that stays on and the needle and cotton stays in the drawer is paramount and not the colour or design. Will certainly order from you again. Many thanks”

“The labels certainly make life easy compared to the old way of having to sew them on. The reason I put good is because one of my labels came off in the wash. Perhaps I didn't stick it on properly. In any case these labels are certainly worth a try. Apart from the one incident the others are on solidly despite numerous washes.”
