“Clear easy to read print, ideal for care home use”

“Have been using your labels for a few years now and find them very easy to use and clear to read. However they do seem to come off in the wash more often these days and I only wash at 30 degrees. Due to the cost of your labels I am happy to continue purchasimg from you but thought it relevant to give this info. Thank you. Mrs Holman.”

We don't normally send name labels out on the Signed For service but as yours was a high value order we did use it on this occasion, so we could track it if it went astray.

“i have ordered from label planet for a long time now, but always by phone and was always v satisfied, however this time i ordered online and whilst the service as before was excellent and i received my order within 36 hours, i did fint the site hard to find what i wanted. in the past i had ordered silver name labels for my disabled sons dvd collection. each time i serched for silver general purpose it popped up to sayit didnt recognise it, so i just ordered lunch box labels but they are much smaller, so will have to do, overall the company are brilliant. maybe it was my fault.”

Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback. Unfortunately we have discontinued the original Stikins and silver general purpose labels which is why you couldn't find them on our website. Our "new" Stikins labels are designed to do everything that the original Stikins did, i.e. they can be used on the wash care label of garments, in shoes and on personal items, including those which go through the dishwasher. These proved so popular with both existing and new customers that it was no longer viable to sell the original labels as well - the minimum raw material order, plus lower sales, meant that our stock would be out of date before we could sell it.

“Have used Stickins for 3 years, love them. Find the new ink does rub off in high contact places, like inside the heel of a shoe, but they are still a great deal, fast service and easy!”

Thanks for taking the time to leave a review, Paige and we are pleased you like our labels! We do recommend that, when you are using them in shoes, you put them in the side or under the tongue to minimise rubbing.

“Very prompt service. Have placed a few label orders previously and was very happy with them except for previous order when labels lost their stick quite easily. Ordered again for another chance and am hoping that this order is going to be a return to form”

“So far so good with these labels a week in. I needed them for my daughter's water bottle for school among other things. It has survived the dishwasher intact so far, so I am pleased with them!”

“Appear to be a brilliant idea and very hassle free however I have found a few labels in my washing machine. I will order another sheet incase they are faulty or it may have been down to my sticking!”

Sorry to hear some of your labels have come off in the washing machine. As they are not all falling off it could be that some haven't stuck down properly. We recommend that they are stuck to the wash care label after the garment has been washed for the first time (this gets rid of any coating which is sometimes on the wash care label after manufacture.) Having applied the labels you should leave them 24 hours before washing them. If you would like a replacement set of Stikins or maybe try the Trons (iron-on transfers) please send us an email at info@labelplanet.co.uk and we will send them out to you.

“Hi - your product is very good but the leaflets are very confusing for our parents. The website address you give on the leaflet www.name-labels.com is totally different to the STIKINS site with totally different prices. I tried the first email address and then when I could not find STIKINS goggled STIKINS and it took me to the right site and the same prices as per leaflet. I hope you can correct this as your products are great. Last term we must have thrown away at least £500 of unlabelled and unclaimed uniform!”

Sorry for the confusion. The Stikins website is indeed www.name-labels.com as quoted in the leaflet, but there is another site without the hyphen which is American and nothing to do with us - hence the different products and prices!

“First time purchase for daughters return to school in September. As we are now a few weeks in I feel as if I can give some feed back, and to be honest it is all good. Super fast delivery and a very good product. Good adhesion, very flexible and a sensible size for fitting on to care labels. Have used in shoes, gym kit, swimming bag, variety of clothes and various personal items such as water bottle etc. All wearing very well. It's only been a few weeks, but there is no sign of peeling or deterioration of printing. The only down side is that they are a bit functional to look at, so a little choice in colour and/or design would have been nice -hence only a 'good' rating, but as a product would not hesitate to recommend them and will buy more.”
