“great food, of a high quality, love the packaging and eco vibe, it is a little pricey, but you get what you pay for, but the delivery charge is particularly hard to swallow as the dpd service isn't great.”

“Hi you were recommended to me I have 2 dogs one which can have a sensitive stomach, I’m happy to say that both of my dogs absolutely love all of your range . Neither of them have had any problems perfect stools and shiny coats . I have given 4,stars only because I really wish you did rabbit my two are really missing it. I will definitely be ordering with you again . Many thanks”

“Food is really good - our Wirehaired Vizsla thrives on it. We have been using it for over a year and are happy with the consistant quality. However, the recent change in packaging is baffling and hard to see how anyone could think it was an improvement.”

“Been a customer for a few years now and my pack of dogs absolutely love the food. The new Fish & Chick, however they were definately not keen on. 3 out of 4 dogs walked away! So that is one we didn't buy again. Packaging is good, all compostable, recylcable. There are a couple of downsides to the new packaging - the paper liner which is supposed to help reduce the food sticking to the packaging seems to attract certain flavours to it. Much more than the old style of packaing. Unless you manage to decant the food into your tupperware type containers before it is fully defrosted then this is very frustratring - and you now have to touch the food in order to peel off the extra paper. The Sensitive food doesn't appear to have this paper liner and slides out smoothly with no wastage. But because my dogs thrive on the food I won't let these two things stop me buying it. One star removed for the packaging.”

“Great products, fast delivery. Only thing I’d change is to be able to opt out/change a flavour (my dog isn’t keen on fish). I understand why you can’t but it’s a great product.”

“This was our first time ordering the small raw food taster box. Everything was great except that 60% of the trays were Turkey. Was hoping for a more even split of flavours.”

“Great food that our dog loves. Would buy more regularly if you offered 1kg containers too. It works out more costly and more waste packaging to buy in 500g boxes. Especially as our dog eats over 800g per day.”

“Food is great dog loves it but not a fan of the new packaging with the film lid and the paper in the bottom, much more fiddly to sort out if you aren't using a whole tub at once, have to find another container to put the leftovers in because the film lids are not reuseable - much more mess and we didn't have any problem with recycling the old packaging in the food waste.”

“The food is as great as it has been since we have been using it and our cats love it. However, the packaging has recently changed and we are finding it more difficult to use. The film doesn't open properly when you pull it so you end up with a rip through the middle. We also thought the previous cardboard lid was good as it meant you could seal it whereas now it is left open in our fridge unless we take it all out and put it in another container. The little piece of paper which sits under the food rips when we portion out the food and makes it difficult to scrape all the bits out as I don't like wasting any of it. Apart from the packaging, I love the ethos of Nature raw. I like that they make sure that the animals are humanly killed and are aware of packaging waste.”

Hey Emma, The sheet is a plain greaseproof paper to facilitate packing the product cleanly and ensure accurate weights. We are currently working on a reusable lid that should be available soon to pop on the top of an open pack in the fridge. xx

“Delivered when said and packaging and quality of food is very good. My dog though doesn't eat large amounts so being able to split the pack into two from frozen would be helpful for me - or offer small packs ? A lot easier than preparing food ourselves though. I ordered taster box which unfortunately had 8 turkey based packs in it and as my dog will not eat turkey it wasn't a great start but I'm not put off - yet.”

“Love that the packaging is plastic-free. Love the slimmer design, which means I can fit more in the freezer. However not sure it needs the sheet of paper underneath the meat, feels a bit pointless and makes it harder to get out. Also preferred the packaging with a lid, handy when only using half the contents and can easily store in the fridge.”

“I have been getting my dog food from Naturaw virtually since they started. They have been consistently excellent and I usually give a 5. However I am not at all keen on the new packaging the boxes are wider and more difficult to store in the freezer also once they are opened there is no longer a lid therefore I end up by having to find something else to put the meat into for storage in the fridge because we take 2/3 days for my dogs to finish a box! I am finding this is a wretched nuisance I much prefer the old packaging and had no issue whatsoever with them, why change what isn't broken??”

“Packaging brilliant, easy to store and defrost. Came well insulated and delivery was quick. We are not a fan of raw diets and have weaned our puppy off this; the little bits of bone were a big worry to us as was the stringiness of the meat she choked a little a few times. However we were happy with delivery and the food did what we needed it to”

“Like the new packaging, much easier now that the food doesnt stick and nice to know nothing is going to waste. Only thing slightly disappointed with is the fact it no longer has a lid to keep it air tight so now having to put the container into a plastic bag. Will probably buy a plastic tub to keep it in but just a bit for fiddly. Other than that very impressed and store nicely in the freezer too.”

“I would have given you 5 star as I love your product but Rufus doesn't like the festive range.there are quite a few boxes in the order. I think the plastic free packaging is fantastic and the wool.recycling scheme.Ru's condition has definitely improved since eating Naturaw.”

“Products are excellent. New packaging isn't such an easy fit in my freezer however, and as my chap only gets half a tub it isn't easy to cover the remaining half!”

“Food quality is good, compostable packaging is excellent BUT why the annoying piece of paper stuck to the food ? It is very hard to clean properly and so has to go in the bin. The cartons are very smooth so I don’t see the need for the paper, it is a major annoyance especially as it can become quite smelly in the bin !”
