“Avoid using their mental health support services as their therapists are inadequate and of low quality. This company can negatively impact your mental health. Their mental health liaisons lack empathy, and they show no concern for your well-being or the quality of the service they provide. Feedback and concerns are handled by a robotic team without empathy, who believe leaving you without mental health services is a solution. "Providing feedback" to the services team is treated as a legitimate response. Their staff is not abreast with current company procedures and I was incorrectly provided complaint information from an outdated policy from 2020.
I have experienced issues with two therapists in their service. One therapist wrongly billed me for sessions I did not attend and failed to inform me of the remaining sessions until the billing issue arose. The second therapist kept confusing the number of sessions I had left, neglecting her responsibility to manage administrative details. An hour and a half before a scheduled session, she canceled because she was unsure of my session count. This level of unprofessionalism is unprecedented in my experience. Nuffield allows it.
I refuse to tolerate further mistreatment by this company, its incompetent therapists, and liaisons who show no concern for individuals. Unfortunately, they have not addressed the issue nor do they care. For the second time in a year, I found myself without a therapist due to their unacceptable service. They cause harm to people and evade accountability. If you raise concerns they just quickly discharge you from their service.
Upon requesting a DSAR, I discovered that Nuffield does not provide their therapists access to a portal or system to track the number of sessions clients have or have left. This highlights a significant oversight on the part of Nuffield. Their mental health services will make your mental health worse.
They do not comply with their complaints procedure and ask what you would like as an outcome but won't provide you with a refund or compensation. They essentially are forcing people to continue to be harmed by their service. Their Relationship Coordinators are charlatans and have stated the only way I can get redress is to take them to court.”

I have been member of Nuffield health at Baltimore wharf for a couple of month .
Steam room was constantly out of order . Exercise machine is very often out of order . Overcrowded . Shower rooms dirty and hairy . Towels out of order . Only in July pool was 5 times out of order ( I have text messages from the gym )
When I tried to cancel my contract , none of these matter . I was told that if I will cancel direct debit , debt collectors will take my case over . They just want to charge you and do not provide any service back .”

Gym is Unhygienic, broken equipment, blocked showers and toilets, dirty pool and sauna area,
Manages are Unqualified former PTs that have just been given the job roles because they are all friends not because they are skilled. Nil understanding of customer service and management in general. The female staff are only interested in chatting to the male members nothing else matters to them.
Euro car park are now running the car park, I have proof I put my number in the iPad on the day in question and took a picture on my phone yet I have received a £100 pound ticket!!!
Nuffield management do not care, they have said if you give us £10.00 admin fee which we send to euro car park we can wave the ticket. Why should I pay £10.00 admin to have a ticket waved when I was never in the wrong!!!
Mathew the manager got us into this mess he needs to sort the car park out before more members leave, I know a handful of Memeber that have left because they got numerous tickets and even with proof they lost the appeal.
One only has to read the review for euro car park company and you will not be shocked how unethical they are and yet Nuffield chose to do this to its members !
!! If you want to throw your money down the toilet then join this gym, they have even closed the small spa they had which is about smaller than my bath tub saying it costs them too much money.”
“I started going to a therapist that my insurance has arranged, but their staff is soooo unprofessional: 1st it took them one week to put me through to someone, and then after i was not happy with the service (the therapist was sleeping on my session) they kept delaying and delaying the process - to the point that i had to leave them - despite 8 session being paid. Every time i speak to a staff - they are very rude. extremely rude.”
“Appt made and payment taken then week later when I call to say I've not received details for appt I'm told I'm not in the system and put on hold for 17 mins only to then be told repeatedly that the GP called in sick and company has been trying to contact me on both of my numbers which was rubbish.Receptionist was argumentative and ride and blatantly lying.Received a voicemail from her boss who obviously thought he had phoned her and was flapping asking if the client was ok and what had happened??!After 2 official complaints I heard nothing which I find incredible for a company like the Nuffield who are dealing with people's health!! Steer clear!!!”
“This used to be a Virgin Gym, at which I was a member for many years.
I subsequently left to work abroad so had to cancel my membership.
On return to Preston, it had changed to Nuffield Health but that, along with the colour scheme, was the only real difference.
Staff remained extremely knowledgeable, professional and friendly. When I walked in, I was greeted by familiar faces and welcomes which made me feel like I was coming home! And indeed, it is a home from home.
Staff are helpful and freely give advice when asked and clearly want to help. The physio services are great along with the classes, catering, admin team and fitness instructors.”
