“I recently placed an order with the Online Pound Store. The items were dispatched promptly, but unfortunately the parcel arrived very damaged. Three items were affected. Two of them were dented aluminium tubes, however, after squeezing them, they were fine. Another item arrived with a damaged lid. While I appreciate that the courier did not appear to handle the parcel with care, I would have expected the store to add some protective material to the items in the box. In my opinion the damage may have been avoided. I ordered quite a few things and they were not light weight items. Even when handled with care there is a danger that damage occurs. I have contacted the store and they have said sorry. That's all.”
