“I ordered 2kg of the char grilled chilli bbq. The order took 2 week's to arrive, when it did the package was in a damaged state, the smaller packets had burst, jerky all over the place, a bloody mess.
In regards to the jerky I found it to be inconsistent in taste and texture, tasteless on occasions, oily and other pieces full of flavour?
I found it to be hit and miss, and why are the pieces so small, mainly tiny pieces and crumbs, why can't we have larger uniform pieces?
On the whole I am very disappointed with the quality and the lack of customer service.
Based on my experience I won't be purchasing from this vendor again.”
“With the Chargrilled BBQ i liked the flavour but a bit dry for mine and the few others i had try it. The spice was pretty spot on but I think it needs to be a bit stronger in flavour. I did what you said in the letter with the chewing but still find the flavour isn't quite strong enough.
The Creeping Reaper i still had a pack from my last order and the new one isn't as hot. We put the first packs i got at 9/10 but the new lot we only gave a 6/10.

“Firstly I have written a review on the beef chief website which has not been shown yet. I can only assume because I rated them poorly. I ordered a 28g pack of each flavor to taste. Unfortunately the only flavor that actually had any taste was Loaded Gunpowder but because of the charcoal that it is rolled in or something, for me, it was like I was eating spicy meat that had been dropped in the dirt and handed to me to each. Not pleasant at all. All the other flavors were like eating plain dried bits if meat. No flavor whatsoever.”

“So the reason this gets 2 stars is because I've had chilli jerky before from Byrons and this taste so plain. I have no idea why I thought that anything charred would taste good. I bought a whole kilo of this and I'm so sad because this was supposed to my end of uni celebration for myself. The sample of the cajun one was WORLDS better.”
“Came across Beef chief few years ago as was put onto by a work mate back when Rob was in Melbourne top bloke as used to pick up from him personally. Still as great if not better and can't complain about customer service. Only problem is bags don't refill themselves.👍🏻👍🏻”
