“The budgie ordered which I paid extra for to come quicker never arrived I had to contact Ormskirk pets to advise them off this not then contacting me to say deed was out of stock and would arrive late which it did with a£2 discount”

“I bought a Kong jumbly toy for my dog within 5 minutes of him playing with it. The squeaker fell out. I reported it to these people and they basically sent me all the information that I needed to do it myself through Kong. Not very good customer service at all. Legally they are responsible but decided not to be, very disappointed in them.”

“The frozen necks were in a box, no polystyrene, no insulation, no refrigeration blocks. They had started to defrost by the time I received them. Normally from Nutiment they come in a cooler box with ice packs.”

“Order two Kong toys, we wanted to shop more locally rathert than Amazon/pets at home. They were both delivered in a few days. The wobble Kong toy was great arrived as expected and a great toy for the dog. The other normal Kong arrived super dirty and almost used looking, not what I expect from any order never mind something my dog will eat from. I'm a bit baffled that they would see it in that state and think it's okay to package and send. For the price of it it isn't great.”

“Lately you don't even receive an email to tell you if your order has been packed, or shipped and emailing customer service is a waste of time. You won't receive a reply. It takes longer and longer to receive your order as well. For the uninitiated they don't work weekends! Shedloads of people who need work might be happy to pack up orders on the weekends. If their prices weren't good I would give up on them. I ordered biodegradable poop bags and received the non biodegradable ones. Complaints fall on deaf ears as well.”

“Delivery arrived damaged. They immediately blamed the courier. It was clearly their fault due to poor packaging putting a 10kg bag of cat litter in 2 plastic litter trays in a flimsy box. I opted for a refund as can't wait any longer for the trays. It made the cat litter an expensive purchase with the £3.99 delivery charge. Still waiting to hear from them if they'll refund this”

“They probably forgot my order and I had to contact them. 2 weeks to receive it... not happy 2 stars because the customer service was polite when I contacted them but when we make a mistake we can give a code for discount or add a gift to show that we are really sorry... just marketing learn from other companies!”

“Here is a tip for others, if you order on a Friday morning do. NOT expect your order to be packed until the following Wednesday and receive it by the next Friday afternoon.”

“My pets like the product that i regularly purchase, COUNTRY HUNTER GAME SELECTION, however when i find that i have been sent 22 damaged cans, with two missing (ordered 24) and cannot contact anyone to ask for a reimbursement for the missing items and ask why i have been sent the 22 damaged cans, when i have paid full price for the product!...you cannot get a response from the online contact form, and there is no telephone number available to speak with anyone....very poor customer service from this company.”

“Happy with the product provided. However, was shipped in a polystyrene box. Polystyrene is 100% non biodegradable. 100% not acceptable in 2024. Won’t be buying again!”

“Not sure if we were just unlucky but not a great experience. Ordered a dog booster seat which after a week or so had not arrived. Contacted Ormskirk Pets who told me that they had none in stock. Disappointing that I had to contact them and they did not advise me. You would expect system to not take orders if an item is not in stock. Was told that it should be in stock the next day, unfortunately after chasing was told that it had not arrived and may arrive in the next day or so. Anyway it eventually arrived but altough it stated it was a medium it was too small for our Cavapoo. Had to return the booster seat and was told that postage would have to be paid by ourselves (£8+). Perhaps we were just unlucky but overall not a great experience.”
