“Two weeks after ordering 4 items got a call to say 3 of the 4 out of stock - all were shown in stock at 10pm when I ordered. By this time I had received three other similar orders made on the same evening, from three online vendors, within 3-4 days. Actually my understanding is that it is illegal to represent product as in stock when it’s not (false advertising). I can’t tie my flies without the legs, and now have to order elsewhere ... another 4 or 5 days then. My overall feeling is that Ottos treats online orders as a free option - they fill them if it’s convenient, but you’re at the back of the queue compared to walk-in customers. Would never order from them online again, and would advise others not to.”
