About Out'n'About:

Out’n’About has evolved from the days when, as new parents, we went in search of equipment that would allow us to carry on enjoying an active outdoor lifestyle, whilst being able to take the kids along too.

Since those early days Out’n’About has become one of the UK’s leading pushchair suppliers, sourcing a range of quality products and developing them to meet the specific needs of the UK market.

Initially Out’n’About pushchairs were specifically aimed towards jogging or off road use, however the three-wheeled stroller has now firmly established itself as being one of the most versatile and stylish ways for busy modern parents to transport their kids.

I bought the Nipper Sport for off road walking and running. The big wheels and suspension are suitable for the purpose of an all- terrain pushchair. However the straps are a silly design- the harness buckle slides on and off meaning it’s very tricky to do up, especially with a wriggling baby. I emailed the company to ask for a different harness, more of a ‘clip style’ but had no response. It’s a basic oversight that makes a huge difference to the ease of use of product. I also find it very difficult to fold and takes an effort to put in the boot of my car (Ford Focus) and need to take all wheels off. Annoyingly the pushchair took a week to arrive too- I could have got it next day delivery with Amazon.

Thank you for taking the time to give us feedback about your experience with our Out N About Nipper Sport pushchair. We appreciate you taking the time to contact us regarding a different harness, and we regret not having responded sooner. The harnesses do need to be released quickly in the event of any incident in order to get your little one out of the buggy in a hurry if needed, however all feedback is greatly appreciated and will help us make the buggy even better in the future, and is something that we can have a look into improving. We understand your frustration with the difficult process of folding and disassembling the pushchair, as this is the Sport buggy with the fixed front wheel it may be that the wheels do need to be removed when popping in the car boot as it is longer than the Nipper 360. It is our priority to ensure our customers have the best experience possible with our product, so we would love to hear more about your thoughts on how we can make things better. Any suggestions or feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Hard to reassemble and put the front wheel straight, you end up with it pulling in one direction. The back wheels have a wobble which looks a bit concerning, I think it won't take long until it will be unusable. The information on the website is minimal, it's borderline misleading on accessories: - The "newborn insert" sold for all prams have photos of the non-sport prams, which don't fold all the way down, therefore I don't think it's a good position for a newborn! Called their support and they said it's been "tested" whatever that means, not very reassuring to put a newborn child in there. If they'd sell potato mashers I wouldn't care but they sell children's products. - The first photo on the website for the sports pram shows it comes with a free rain cover worth £35 but that's only if you get the red one. Apparently, I should have figured out that I need to look (scroll up on mobile) at the image every time I change the colour selection to make sure the free rain cover sticker is still there. Sorry but that's a bit weird, you should just have a sentence in your product description that says: RAIN COVER INCLUDED WITH RED COLOUR ONLY! That way I would at least be prepared to spend another £35. - The newborn carrycot description is just a few lines of text and not at all clear which prams it matches. After getting burned twice with the newborn insert and the rain cover I called to check and indeed it wasn't compatible with the order I made. Again, something that can be solved with a bit more info on the website. - The bottle holder that they sell isn't strong enough to hold the Out'n'about branded water bottle they sell. The bottle fits but it falls off at the slightest movement. I don't know why would you sell a bottle holder that can't hold a bottle. I think the only reason we've kept it is that it's not that badly built and you need to pay the return postage which will be about 1/3 of the pram value, so I guess sunk cost fallacy? Overall I'd say not worth the purchase, I'd go for another running pram brand if I had the choice. The only good accessry which we enjoy using is the bag.

Thank you for your review and feedback on your Nipper Sport, all feedback is greatly appreciated. We do have a technical video to show you how to adjust the front wheel on the Nipper Sport, as it is a fixed wheel this is required from time to time, especially if you have had to remove the front wheel at all. Nipper Sport front wheel adjustment – https://youtu.be/rfw6XnGl_70 We would be happy to have a look at the rear wheels for you, if you could send a video over to our customer care team, they will be able to have a look into this and let you know what can be done to help resolve this. The Newborn insert is a fabric insert and is therefor compatible with all of our buggies, as it is a fabric support, there are no weight limits etc on this and it can be used with any of our buggies until your little one outgrows this in length, there are no images of the Newborn support fitted in any of our buggies on our website due to this, as stated it is compatible with all models. The rain covers have been sold separately since 1st October, and any reference to the rain cover has been removed from all buggy descriptions on the website. We did have an offer on before Christmas where it was included with the Red Frame Sport, this has since finished, but thank you for the feedback on this, it is something we will bear in mind for future, and think about changing the wording if we ever have the offer running again. We do have a list of buggies that the carry cots are compatible with, in the descriptions, and on the Single Carry Cot it lists all Single buggies apart from the Nipper Sport. Again the feedback on the bottle holder is appreciated and is also something that we can have a look into, we would love to hear from you so that we can get these issues resolved for you, if you can contact our customer care team they can look into this further.
