“We had a very positive experience with Overnight Caskets, despite the sadness and difficulty of the moment. Ordering was simple and user friendly, delivery projection was on point, with phone calls and online tracking making it easy to determine arrival time at funeral home, since we had to be there to sign/inspect unpacking. The crating/packaging was incredible - even the funeral home employees commented on that and the quality of the casket. It was exactly what we ordered and wanted. I highly recommend, AND we saved at least $1,000 over funeral home prices.”

“The only problem we had was out of their control, the actual truck driver. The quality and appearance was great. The particular casket that we ordered did not have handles on the end. If you need them make sure you order one that way.”

“When my mom told me she'd heard that buying a casket online was all the rage now at the senior centers, I was appalled. But after seeing the price difference between the caskets at funeral homes and the ones online, after reading reviews upon reviews, and understanding the market and how funeral homes have the front line advantage, I decided if we could find a viable option, we would buy a casket for my father online. I liked the reviews of Overnight Caskets I had read on TrustPilot and that they had a BBB rating. My family and I had a couple of weeks to plan the funeral, so we perused the website and found a casket that met all of our expectations. However, my father passed on a Friday night, so we weren't able to place the order for the casket until Saturday afternoon. Though it's called Overnight Caskets, they are closed on weekends. So my order didn't begin processing until Monday at noon (they are located on the west coast, I'm on the east coast). That's when they called me to notify me that the free shipping I was under the impression I was eligible for was only applicable if I had chosen a casket specifically under their East Coast section of the site, which I'd never seen. If I wanted the casket I'd purchased, I had to pay an additional $300 for shipping to fly it on an overnight flight. I didn't like the East Coast selection after then checking it out, so I had no real choice but to pay the shipping. At the end of the day, I was still saving at least 2-3x the amount of a funeral home casket. The casket arrived at the end of the day on Tuesday, just shy of the end of the funeral home's acceptance window, but it made it. We viewed it before they prepared it, and it seemed very well made, very sturdy, and just as it looked in the photos. I am not familiar with other caskets, but I did notice that the metal embellishments connecting the handles were only painted metallic, I believe they may have been plastic (based on tapping it). The casket lid was appropriately heavy, so the structure itself did not seem to be made of plastic. The interior was not the most luxurious fabric, but like a thick, scratchy felt/fleece. Nevertheless, the pillow and cushioning seemed comfortable and firm. It was a difficult time for us, as it is bound to be for anyone shopping in this market. We were fortunate enough to be able to mentally and physically prepare for the funeral arrangements, but I don't know how feasible choosing a casket online would have been if we were rushed and flustered and mid-grieving. This company seems like a small, but fairly well-oiled machine and I like that they seem to be diversifying this overly traditional market. With hopes that it won't be at anytime in the near future, I would highly consider purchasing from them again.”

“I received a call informing me that the casket ordered was found to have a dent and I was immediately given an opportunity to select another with no additional cost and the newly selected casket was still delivered the very next day. Excellent service.”

“From ordering online to arrival at the funeral home was 3 business days as advertised. Arrived without a scratch, and the $1,550 Lincoln Mahogany casket we chose was nicer than the comparable casket at the funeral home for $6,000. Would recommend Overnight Caskets to anyone without hesitation.”

“Thankfully we've never had to buy a casket before. We were nervous and weren't sure what to expect. Customer service was terrific. The casket was beautiful and in perfect shape. Everyone commented on how beautiful it was. It looked very elegant and expensive. It was a fraction of the cost of what we would've paid in the funeral home.”

“The staff was so very helpful and my order arrived promptly. After looking closely at the casket, we realized the handles on the chosen item appear to be the same ones they use on copper caskets. Very high quality and beautiful work. Definitely would recommend this company.”

“Once we learned of our option to purchase a casket on our own we gave this company a call (on the recommendation of our funeral director). I am super impressed. Everyone I spoke with could answer all my questions, anticipate our questions and everything happened the way they said it would. Delivery was amazingly quick and on time.I was informed when it was shipped and another call to tell me it was delivered. The product (casket) was as described.”

“While the holidays got in the way of delivery and I had to cancel the order, their selection was awesome and when I had to cancel, they called to say it wouldn’t make it and then immediately refunded my money so that I could get a local replacement as needed. Excellent customer service, will definitely use them again if I need them.”

“When my father passed away, we had to bury him in another state than where he passed and where we lived. So we didn't have a funeral home to go to immediately. The funeral home didn't have the casket pictures online but did send us a price list of Batesville caskets. So I went online to try and find pictures of the ones they carried, but could not. What I did find online was other caskets that can be delivered overnight. Turns out, that is how the funeral home does it anyhow. They order them and have them shipped overnight. The casket we ordered online was $1,300 vs. the same $4,000 Batesville casket. The funeral home tried to 'scare' us into the uncertainty of it not being delivered on time, and insisted we be there when it was delivered and opened. That was no problem. I was concerned but the personnel helping me reassured me that they would come through and they did. The casket was absolutely beautiful. It was 18 gauge stainless steel and gasketed. I would absolutely recommend using Overnight Caskets. You will get a quality product at a much better price.”

“I needed expedited shipping to make sure the casket arrived on time for my mother's funeral right after Christmas. They shipped next day and it arrived with plenty of time to spare. The only thing that might be improved is the order status info on the website (it showed order not fulfilled after the casket had shipped). At the service I finally got to see it, and it looked even better than the pictures on the website. High quality all the way. Beautiful. It received many compliments. We were very pleased. I would definitely buy from Overnight again.”
