“Percentage for services a bit high”

“Firstly I would like to thank you for the compensation payment. However I was somewhat surprised at the amount that was actually paid into my account. It was almost half of what I was expecting. On two occasions I had two phone calls and both said that the compensation amount was £1500.00 (or thereabouts, I dont have the exact amount with me). The amount paid in was £828. I called to query this. I was told that the figure I was previously told was BEFORE the 40% fee was taken out. May I strongly suggest that when you call people to let them know how much they are going to get that you tell them the ACTUAL amount and not the amount before deductions as this is very misleading. I was also told that in the small print of an email that they had sent to me that it does state that the fee is 40%. This needs to be stated at some point during the phone call.”

“I think your service was carried out professionally. My main concern is that you took for to much commission. I didn't get what I was led to believe what I was getting. Maybe in insight I might have been better going direct to SJP”
