“Very bad communication, repeatedly sending emails to them which very often were ignored .
On phoning them you could never speak to anyone dealing with your case , i was always told that someone would be in touch once they sent an internal email to whoever was dealing with my case , but rarely did i get a response.
i then received an email from Levy Mc Rea asking to confirm my bank details and thought that it must be a scam because i wasn’t even aware that it was part of the same firm, very poor communication and would never recommend to anyone”
“Pacific Legal were attentive and were in plenty of contact with me to try and resolve my claim. They were professional and timely in their responses and acted diligently on my behalf based on my instructions or a course of actual mutually agreed during the process. There was a successful outcome as a result of their efforts for which I am grateful.
I do think their fees (given the sheer scale and volume of work involved in terms of claims they must be bringing against SJP) could have been more competitive.”
“I found extremely frustrating every time I phoned to get information about which option I was supposed to have chosen nobody but nobody could ever give me a definitive answer. Always saying information was held by ‘another team’ ! Every person kept asking me to send some ID promising to send me a link to upload my ID documents, but the email and the links never arrived once & time went by. I didn’t know what was happening. There was confusion as to which option I had chosen in the end. I was getting so sick of the whole process. I just opted to accept the first figure. I now regret this and had been fully informed and was clear about the expected duration of the process or anything at all. I probably would’ve taken a different route. But I was thinking that as months had gone by I was likely going to miss some deadline by accident & get nothing at all- I will never want to deal with this kind of company again. I was never told about the amount of the fee that would be taken away from the final figure offered to me. I was never advised what wouid happen if I didn’t accept the first offer - your ‘customer service was woeful ! Just random texts out of the blue telling me to look out for a new email
which never arrived ! so I had to keep phoning & speaking to a person who knew nothing! Due lack of clarity about the process & in utter frustration I clicked the option to accept the first figure - which was the wrong decision! When I was advised the actual finger, this came as a complete shock. If I have known I was only going to receive a small fraction of the figure I was offered I would’ve certainly taken a different option. The whole system is just appalling. I’m very disappointed.”
