“I have been a good customer with palmetto. Spent close to $11000 in the last two years with them. I have never complained once. And I have received a damaged firearm and missed a few items. Never complained, not once. Three weeks ago an ammo shipment went missing. Almost 600 dollars. They have been completely unhelpful. I spoke with Caleb, Juli, rakeivius and Melissa. All any of them were capable of doing was quoting company policy. It was clear that they were all accustomed and well prepared to deal with unhappy customers. They must get a lot of phone calls like mine. I asked for a supervisor “ they don’t take calls”. Quote calub. Blamed it on me, said ups could not get ahold of me. Untrue. If I was a regular at bitching and complaining I could see but I have been a good customer and never once complained. I told them they had lost a customer their response was ok bye. DONT do business with palmetto. Worst customer service ever.”
“I bought a gift certificate in the amount of $200 and never got an e-mail with the code to use for the purchases. I canceled the other, 2 weeks later, after speaking with several people at costumer service, each with a different answer. One of the answers was that the item was in the warehouse waiting for shipment. (???) The recipient was supposed to get an e-card!!
So, needless to say that costumer service is that bad.
I never got any communication or my money back! Dishonest to say the least!

“I placed an order for a handgun on 9/13. I made sure to order one IN STOCK. I was out of town when the order was placed online in case it was a temporary sale. I also made sure I ordered it from the Sam Rittenberg location because its close. I figured I'd go in when I got back into town and just pick it up, because it was being "shipped" to that location as my FFL choice. I went into the store on 9/19 and was THEN told, it may not even be there by 9/27 due to truck space !!!!!!!!!! This is the second order I;ve placed online and yet another fiasco like this has happened. In general it's an OK store, online - do NOT use unless you have thepatience of a death row prisoner.”
“If I’m over the shipping department I will fired everyone in shipping department's and between Charlotte NC and Columbia, South Carolina less than two hours driving. I ordered on 8/26 today is 9/10/2024 till now I have not received my package and they send me emails saying your package is delivered I called store they said we did not receive any package I called customer service automated system is said you get refund send an email to the Customer Service. It said still in the process I have no idea what kind of business they’re doing. everyone should be get fired who work in the business and higher professional people”
“I ordered an AR pistol lower from PSA. First time it was shipped it went to a UPS facility in the next town and not delivered to my FFL. I received a message from PSA stating my order was "ready for customer pickup". I called PSA and they said the FFL must have requested a hold - they did not. I asked PSA to request it be returned and re-shipped to my FFL. 2nd time it got there.
Upon unpacking it at home, I find the forward assist sticks and gets jammed. I email PSA and describe the problem. They say they want a video and a better description. I'm unable to provide a video but told them for the 2nd time what the problem is and requested they contact me to arrange a return and repair. So far, their warranty/customer service is being difficult in facilitating a repair.
If they remedy the situation, I will update the review. But at this point I'm very dissatisfied with PSA and their customer service.”
“ordered lower receiver, waited for 2 weeks to receive receiver, after being notified of store receiving it in Summerville, maid arraignments and drove 1 and 1/2 hours to pick this up all valid ids drivers license, combo fishing\ hunting license, both vehicle registrations, and they would not release the lower, because their jerk of a manager had a problem with me having 2 addresses, or maybe the fact that I was black, the state didn't have a problem, the other gun brokers didn't have problems, I have purchased several firearms over the last 2 years, 2 pistols from palmetto state in Ridgeland SC, so I asked for my money back which it was not a good policy to inconvenience me more than I already was, their policy to have the store were you didn't get the help and good customer service in the first place, is asked like they are doing you a favor to so they call it absorb the purchase, and it still takes days to get your money back, I am through with them”

“Ordered front and rear iron sights (same manufacture), ammo and magazines, Only received the rear sight from with Fedex. I called to ask what was going on with my order and I was told the front sight will ship separately from a 3rd party and I need to wait 5-7 business days. When I asked the agent to follow on it for me all she did was repeat the "policy" It appears the ammo and mags are coming from a third location with UPS. What a nightmare. At looks like this company is falling down the "not service the customer" rabbit hole like so many others these days.”

She told me exactly what I needed to do to have my FFL Holder do and my FFL followed her instructions and now I am able to purchase the firearms that I have been wanting to buy, but I could not get it to locate my FFL, but through Laura’s detailed instructions I was able to get my FFL listed into your database and now I can make the purchases I have been wanted to make. Laura is a credit to your organization and a large reason that I will continue coming back to Palmetto State for all of my gun needs.”
