“Do not send your parcel with this company , I sent a package worth £30 got charge a week later 1100 for surcharge , had to then send images of parcel , which clearly nobody has once they send there parcel, they were saying it weight 80kg instead of 7kg it was a total scam tbh , there is no such thing . My bank fought my case too nearly 6 month before I got my money back from my bank . They just kept asking for evidence and even after that they didn’t pay it back!!!!!! Beware scam”
“i provided correct dimensions and 1 month after they delivered they took £72 from my bank for big size surcharge. i sent them screenshot of items that i was returning to supplier proving correct dimensions. they demanded photos of parcel with tape measure next to parcel (after 1 month it was delivered). i asked them to provide me proof that parcel was oversized and they said they dont have any details. didnt accept my photos with ordered items with exact dimensions. then stopped replying to my emails. this is fraud and scam,!”
“PAID £350 FOR A DELIVERY THAT NEVER ARRIVED
Utterly Furious – ParcelHero Is a Complete Disaster!
I am beyond angry with ParcelHero. I paid £350 for a delivery that never even arrived, and they still took my money! To make matters worse, I contacted their customer service immediately, thinking they’d fix the issue. But no – they’ve kept me waiting for over a MONTH with absolutely no resolution!
Every single time I reached out, I got the same useless excuses and empty promises. How is this acceptable? Do they even care about their customers or the items they’re supposed to deliver? It’s like they’ve just taken my money and vanished.
This has been one of the most frustrating and infuriating experiences of my life. ParcelHero is unreliable, incompetent, and an absolute waste of time and money. I regret ever trusting them. If you value your sanity, AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS!”
“DISCUSTING ABSOLUTE RIP OFF COMPANY
Charged me £170.11 a week after the alleged large package surcharge. Yes you read correct £170.11 extra! what a load of nonsense. I had already paid over £40 for the delivery, using the parcelhero price comparison site. UPS were doing the delivery at the price paid. Then shockingly a week later, I get an email, saying I have been charged £170.11 no need to do anything, they had taken the payment from the same card I previously used. The audacity! This company has been doing this for some time, check the other reviews, on various review platforms. I really wished I had checked, before trying parcelhero for the very first time. Mark Taylor sent me endless emails, talking like a politician, with excuse after excuse, trying hard, requesting I give him my measurements, before he passed what they claimed the measurements were. When I provided him with the actual measurements (Photos) Uploaded onto my Google review, they were clearly different to theirs. Mark Taylor then asked me for other images that nobody would ever think about taking, of various angles of the parcel, with measurements clearly showing, Pathetic! Images were right there showing. Luckily I was Savvy enough to take images, using parcelhero for the first time. I will be taking this matter further, they are ripping lots of people off! I really hope they are not doing this to elderly or vulnerable people.
BE WARNED!
Chances are they will continue doing this to many others.
DO NOT USE PARCELHERO THEY ARE A RIP OFF CONPLANY
Save the stress of massive overcharges furth down the line.”
“Like other reviewers I have had a terrible experience with this company and would never use again
* arranged to collect a parcel (same day) - a price was quoted (please note I over estimated the size and the weight) - this part went fine
* parcel was delivered on time (thanks to the carriers not them)
* a week later they come back to us to advise there is a "weight adjustment" and they now want more than £79 EXTRA from us
* on questioning their answers were vague and hid behind T&C where they claim they have the right to charge after the fact asking to use duplicate the parcel (this was a one off parcel with unique packaging and therefore could not be replicated)
* the question was asked about the invoice and proof of the extra charges -they sent a blurred out image which didn't show any of the prices and also showed they were not being honest about the actual extra they claimed were being charged (for any admin - I have the proof
Morale of this story - AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUE, UNDERHAND TACTICS AND DISHONEST”
“I sent some items through "ParcelHero" who sourced UPS for the delivery.
I very carefully calculated weights and dimensions of all the packages as best as a layman (and carpenter) could I believe.
Delivery was just over £57.
AFTER the packages were delivered I get an email from them telling me that they were going to charge me an ADDITIONAL +£84
as they claimed that UPS had weighed and measured and calculated a different price. I was utterly shocked at the huge difference they wanted to charge me. They provided no evidence to back up their claim.
I emailed them:
- Disputing the additional charge
- Telling them that any prior agreements were void and they were forbidden from taking any more money out of my account as this was now a dispute.
- I emailed the item descriptions of what I had sent along with weights and dimensions
They, emailed be back, and in the same email, in one stroke:
- notified me that they were taking the additional money out of my account (despite my written instruction to them that they were not allowed to do so)
- told me that I had not provided enough evidence to support my dispute. Their evidential threshold for a dispute is entirely unrealistic for the average person. They wanted me to have taken photographs of each package I had sent, with the delivery barcodes on them, with pictures of a tape measure on them showing the length, width and depth dimensions! EACH PACKAGE PHOTOGRAPHED WITH MEASUREMENTS MULTIPLE TIMES IN ADVANCE. Right...
My experience with them is one of dealing with thieves.
I felt violated.
I would not recommend anybody to use ParcelHero.da”
