“Great idea and format. We funded a boat trip for our friends who are getting married. I wonder what happens if the options run out before the wedding - do the bride and groom get asked to add more options for their guests, or is there an option for guests to simply give cash that isn't for a specific thing.”

Hello there, thanks for your great review and for your comments. In answer to your questions, most of our users leave the gift options to be available to be funded multiple times. So for example, a patch for a boat trip may be priced at £50 but it may be a contribution to the trip, meaning that other people can also contribute to the same thing. If they get more contributions to the boat trip then they require then they are free to spend the extra money on something else (maybe another item on the patchwork or something entirely new!) The creator of the list is free to spend the money how they choose but usually they like to give guests an idea of how the money will be spent, by showing images of what they plan to do. The site is very flexible and as each page is designed and created by the user, it's very much tailored to what each individual needs!
