It makes me less happy when it then asks me to "Tell us how Patchwork Gift Registry made you happy." as a mandatory field that I can't submit my rating without filling this in. Have you thought about how many people bail at this stage and how many potential ratings you lose?”

“Great idea and easy to follow choices. Payment infuriating! Had to do over and over as I did NOT want to use pay pal and it was confusing and hard to do and I still don't understand why I go an email from PayPal saying they had put my payment through. Please change this confusion and I will use Patchwork again”

Hi there, We're so sorry that you had issues on the PayPal site. We do offer another payment option (Stripe) which allows very easy credit or debit card payments, but unfortunately the couple to whom you were donating had chosen to use PayPal which we understand doesn't suit everyone. We are glad however that you enjoyed the experience on our site and would love to welcome you back again :)

“I contributed to a year of theatre tickets for my Mum's 70th birthday. She doesn't like material things so these experiences will make her very happy and me happy too. Website super easy to use. A 5 star website.”

“All good and I liked the UX provided, fast and intuitive. 1 honorable mention :) The view where the users can select the gifts is awesome. 2 annoying things: - When writing the message to put in the present I saw a very very bad flickering probably due to some validation under the hood, but it was really annoying. - The payment by Paypal, I know this is not entirely your fault but I had to fight a lot with Paypal. This is because Paypal is simply terrible, ugly and not user-friendly. On top of this, when a user buying gifts for a special occasion (like or honeymoon), you should expect people from all around the world, Paypal is simply terrible at managing internationalization. I had to refill my view 10 times before obtaining the proper one and I had to try 3 different credit cards :(”

“Great help from the online specialist that helped me navigate as it wasn’t clear what I needed to do. Was also frustrating not being able to see if things had sold out before clicking on the picture. Felt a little confusing but got there in the end. The concept is very good.”
