I signed up to what I though was a three month dog training course, after seeing an ad on Instagram. There was no email to confirm what was purchased when I signed up for the course, very poor quality dubbed/ not useful dog training videos, and then Paw Champ doesn't inform you that they'll be charging additional money for a ‘subscription’ three months later. There is nowhere on their website to check what subscription/ membership details you signed up for, so no way of knowing, or cancelling, until after you have been charged. I would encourage anyone charged in the same way to report your experience to the ACCC if you are Australian and/or the Better Business Bureau (BBB). Better Business Bureau (BBB).

They will steal your money and put through unauthorized payments then refuse to refund. Do not give your credit card info.

I didn't mean to subscribe. I contacted them on day 1 of the subscription, after a large sum was taken from my account. They refuse to refund.

Most reputable companies will email you to remind you that a subscription is coming up to be renewed, but not this company because they don't want you to have a chance to cancel. I appreciate that it is the users responsibility to cancel, so that is why I am warning any potential consumers now - do not purchase this product. The videos for training are no more than poorly read dog training books with someone barely performing the training tasks. I am so disappointed in this company and their completely shady dealings.

Watch Out for Paw Champ’s Subscription Policy Paw Champ’s subscription system lacks transparency. Once signed in, there are no clear account details—no billing history, no upcoming charges, and no easy way to cancel. The only subscription info is buried in the legal section, and they don’t send renewal reminders. I got great help with my dog’s behavior, but I didn’t realize when to cancel and was charged for an extra month. While it follows their policy, it feels misleading compared to other modern subscriptions. If you use Paw Champ, cancel as soon as you’re done—or consider a local trainer for a more straightforward experience.

This is basically a scam as the videos are terrible dubs with no real value. The translations are terrible. They also don’t let you know that the price doubles after the first month and to unsubscribe is a ridiculous hassle. Stay away from this terrible company.

Don't bother. Videos were poor quality and boring. Nothing at all like you'd expect after seeing the numerous ads over and over and over again. I cancelled and it was still taken out of my account.

Terrible customer service, app, and expensive monthly subscription —DON’T BOTHER. Refused to provide region when I early did not use the service, accidentally signed up! They did not care. Literally no one customer service #. Sketchy company

Made the error of signing up at a heavily discounted rate. Having tried the videos, they are of very poor quality with the English voiceovers difficult to understand. I have never used the training videos as the product just didn’t work for us. When I noticed £66 leave my account, I logged into the website to attempt to cancel. Alarm bells should have started ringing when I realised there’s no access to a personal account and cancelling would require containing their team via email - this is how they get you, make it as difficult as possible to cancel. I requested to cancel my account, which was responded to quickly, however, another trick they use to keep your money is the requirement to click a link in the email and complete a survey, before your account is actually cancelled. I requested a refund stating my current circumstances and that I had never gotten around to using the account, however, they have refused the refund and intend to keep the payment of £66 - which is over double what I initially paid when I originally signed up. One of these companies that offers a poor/mediocre product, makes it challenging to cancel and relies on the many individuals who are wrapped up in life and forget to cancel. AVOID AVOID AVOID

Der ganze Kurs ist eine einzige KI. Die deutsche Stimme springt manchmal ins Englische und manchmal bekommt sie einen starken amerikanischen Akzent. Ich habe einen EINMALIGEN SECHSWÖCHIGEN Kurs gekauft, um zu schauen, wie gut der ist, und etwas über 30 EUR investiert. Verkraftbar, auch beim schlechten Training. Aber plötzlich wurden mir 79,99 EUR abgebucht, ohne dass ich ein Abo abgeschlossen habe. Auch keine Bestätigung über ein Abo habe ich bekommen! Versucht man, Kontakt mit dem Unternehmen aufzunehmen, bekommt man eine automatische Antwort AUF ENGLISCH (Sie verkaufen Ihre Kurse aber gerade stark in Deutschland), die ebenfalls von einem KI-Bot stammt. Selbst wenn einige Ansätze in dem Training sinnvoll und hilfreich ist, ist das keine Art, Geld zu machen, indem man einen in sich abgeschlossenen Kurs anbietet, hinterher dann aber viel mehr - IN EINEM ABO???? - abbucht. Da sind ein paar gewiefte Unternehmer am Start, die wissen, wie man Geld erschleicht. Ich fordere mein eingezogenes Geld zurück!

This company operates in a gray area. I initially signed up for a reduced fee trial ($31), which I used briefly as the videos did not work. I received a full charge 3 months later. Within minutes I messaged them because I hadn't used the service and the charge was made without consent. Their response? A screenshot of the payment plan, and in small print the hidden fee of $79.99. They didn't reach out to let me know my trial would be ending, that they would be going forward with the full subscription or to check on how I was even liking the product. It's bad business and tells you they do not believe in their product if they have to resort to underhanded ways to make money. I got charged a second time January 10th and I have now reported them to the FTC, the BBB as well as my bank after the repeated charges and extreme difficulty to cancel. I never used their services beyond watching one awful video and they acknowledged that they are able to see that on their end but refuse to refund me.

I signed up for a subscription last fall. Late on Jan. 11, 2025, I received a receipt that I had been charged nearly 3 times the initial amount. I have not used the subscription in months. They do not notify you that your subscription will renew to give you a chance to decide to keep it. I contacted them within hours of the emailed receipt for the recent charge. They are not issuing a refund. I contacted the customer support, and “after careful consideration” they aren’t doing anything…this is within hours of the charge and I clearly haven’t used the service. Total scam. Not an ethical way to do business.

TOTAL SCAM. Do not do this!!! You get a reduced month and then they back door you with a $50 a month charge, when they get caught they will tell you they are crediting back, but won’t. Total scam!!!
