“Excellent service from Pediwear, thank you! The boots are very good indeed although perhaps not for everybody. First, they require time and patience during lacing - not for someone in a hurry, not all types of lacing are practical either. Secondly, the colour is not burgundy but simply brown and somewhat dull, requiring a lot of polishing for a decent, cordovan-like shine. Thirdly, they are robust boots made of thick gauge leather/membrane, little surprising considering their look as very civilised dress boots, do not expect any softness there. Then, the fit is absolutely perfect for me, truly in a made-to-measure league. Thank you David for your advise. The quality is very good indeed, feel, smell and all. Comfortable, understatedly classy, comfortable to wear footwear.”

“Delighted with my husband's Pediware shoes (as he is!) He first bought some in Monaco when he was covering the Grand Prix (they are now on garden duty!) But have always been extremely comfortable and very wearable loafers.”

“Pediwear is a very good retailer of close out English shoes, that to some may not be approachable. However, they have fallen on hard times, so if you know your British made she stuff you can snag a true bargain.”

We wish to be clear that at no time have we declared that we have fallen on 'hard times' and that this is purely speculation on the part of yourself, our good customer. A business may choose to close for any number of reasons and we do not wish to appear to be playing on the sympathy of our customers. We are a little puzzled at why you should choose to give us only 3 stars whilst making such encouraging remarks?
