“I chose the Saphir box instead of others because it had space and gear also in the lid, it was not "just a box". However, this makes the box "top-heavy", when you open the box it tips away from you and the gear inside tumbles. I expressed my dissatisfaction to you and asked for a 50 GBP reduction but this was refused as you claimed that there was nothing wrong with the box. In fact about 5 years ago I bought through you an Ettinger wallet. (Bentley series). The CC slots are too narrow, about 7 mm compared to my other wallets. When all slots have cards in them it is extremely difficult to extract a card. I sent the wallet to Ettinger - I don't know what they actually did but the wallet still does not work well. I realise that articles from Saphir and Ettinger are a bit outside your normal range but I thought I´d tell you. A mail order firm like yours must build on trust and happy customers! Take care of your kit, sorry customers, and your customers will take care of you!”

Dear Customer Thank you for your review and for giving us four stars despite your concerns. With all due respect, I am a little unsure why you are telling us about the wallet. From what you have said we were never made aware of this problem? If we can still help you with the wallet please email us - though at five years I am not sure what we would be able to do. With regard to the Saphir box, if you were unhappy with it, as with all our products, you can, of course, return it. We would consider both Saphir and Ettinger to be part of our main offering. We are very familiar with both companies and their products. As a small family business, our success and indeed future survival is based on our reputation for customer service, We would be sorry if you consider we have fallen short of this in your particular case, but having reviewed the matter, I would reiterate that the best course of action would be for you to return the item you are unhappy with (assuming it remains in its original condition). “I needed a winter hat and opted for the Tilley TW2HT Harris Tweed as it has the drop down ear warmers and I must admit they have proved their worth during the latest cold spell.I also ordered and received the multi mix colour version and this has become my favourite due to my sallow skin.The brim tilt is ideal for driving into the early morning rising sun on what clear days we get.A cosy comfortable fit using the size guide provided I consider it a multi season hat,superb.”
