“Had a terrible encounter with People Choice insurance. Within two weeks of getting insured, they asked for more details, charging a £30 admin fee. If I didn't provide the extra information, they threatened to cancel my insurance, imposing a £45 fee. This insurance is absurd, a major scam, and I wouldn't recommend it.”
“Extremely Poor communication, unreasonable notice in asking for unnecessary additional information 5 months after taking the policy out, automatically cancelled my policy as a result and will not reinstate it. New quote was £100 more than original policy, oh and my part refund will take 5 days along with a £46 admin fee!! Absolutely raging, call yourselves a professional organisation, Harry in customer service department- USELESS!”
“Disgraceful service! Discriminating people although they are British citizens born abroad! They put the price up literally just because of that - a week after I booked it!! I cancelled the policy of course as I was no happy with unreasonable increase of my premium only because I was not born in the UK but they charged me fee although I have 14 days of free cancellation time!

“Terrible company. I've been trying to change my car for a few weeks now and there is no option to change the car details online. I have to ring them every time for a quote and wait times are a minimum of ½ an hour and at times I have given up after 2 hours trying to get through. I have missed out on several cars due to People's Choice living in a past century. We are in 2021 now and a few taps on a phone should be all it takes to change a car on an insurance policy. Won't be using them again.”
“I rand today to ask that the Auto renew was turned off, as i had bought insurance elsewhere. It was like an interrogation trying to get them to do this for me. I was asked why, and advied tthe chap that i had found same but cheaper elsewhere. I was interrogated over and over as to who, how much, etc. then aid i could renew with them for even cheaper if i cancelled my new policy under the coling off period. I pray you tape your calls because you will see how many times I SAID PLEASE JUST CANCEL THE AUTO RENEW, I DONT WANT TO RENEW WITH YOU GUYS THIS TIME. Traumatic. Please just accept that peope do want to cancel their auto renew, and dont question us like you are the gestapo!”

“They reel you in with low quote then rip you off..I read the reviews but thought. and thought it wont happen to me. I was wrong...I am 62 and when was asked my occupation I said retired cos I was not working. They got back to me a few weeks later.and asked my occupation. which I replied retired.They said your not retired your unemployed. WHich officially I suppose I was..That minor mistake cost me £169..They say there is a charge of £30 or £40 .They also add on lots more Which I dont understand...I also had a neighbour who had an accident.And they refused to pay anything They are experts at finding faults to make money...BEWARE They will catch you somehow”
