I apologize for the poor rating. I will admit I have not tried any of the other real estate schools, so I do not have anything to compare this to. However, I feel that the language and layout of this program is lacking tremendously. The slides are not organized well and are hard to understand. I also feel that the wording changes from slides to test questions. I can write down a slide verbatim in my notebook, and then on the test questions the answers do not even line up with the material that was on the slide. It is extremely frustrating and has caused me to review and retake tests many times. I have to google the correct answer because your slides leave me hanging in confusion. There are lots of typos and spelling errors. The voiceover half the time is not even reading the correct slide. I have had to mute the program because it is not synced correctly with the corresponding slides. I am sorry to state that if it was still possible to receive a refund and back out of this program and enroll in a different one, I would. I love your all's price and understand this is a new program. The budget-friendly rates are fantastic. But at the end of the day, I have learned the hard way yet again that you get what you pay for. I do hope you all succeed and continue to improve your platform. I am on module 4 and will continue using your all's program. Thank you for reading, Derrick

I'm having a horrible time trying to make it through this course. Many of the unit exam questions are not covered in the curriculum. And the author is way too impressed with his business degree (III-A) and lawyer-y language (III-B)! Lots of unnecessary information, not focused on South Carolina at all, Absolutely maddening.

Two of the 13 classes were good - at least okay (the Contracts and License Law ones). The remainder were among the worst quality classes I have ever taken in 22 years as a licensed real estate agent. They were a power point set of slides read by a computer voice that seemed to have been assembled by a VA or someone who had never actually been involved in the business but was just assembling data from Google. The power points generally may have been okay if presented by a knowledgeable lecturer with commentary. There were endless typos that would have been caught if anyone had ever proofread the work. The presentation and the tests seemed largely disconnected with many questions that weren't even presented and would be unknown to a student other than previous knowledge or consulting Google. On many occasions, I answered a question and it said it was wrong but said the answer was exactly what I selected. On one occasion all of the answers were blank with just a bunch of radio buttons. Some of the information was so outdated that it was laughable. The email linking to the phone app doesn't include the required info to access the app - I had to dig on my own and find it. I just got my license in TN and expected to have some actual knowledge conveyed in the volume of classes I took for the post-licensing (120 hours). The only class that provided anything other than that which would be news to a brand new agent was the TN License Law class - now I have an abundance of knowledge of the amount of the renewal fees. On the upside, I got a completion cert and CE credit upon completion.

Thank you for the feedback, Russ. You did a great job getting through the course so quickly! We strive to constantly update our courses. Additionally, as our website states, all our courses are online and self-paced. They aren't recorded lectures. But we will explore offering additional learning styles such as video lectures. In order to fully understand the material, students need to review both the modules and the reading, which is referenced in the course syllabus. That may be the reason for the perceived information gap between the module and the module tests. We will make sure to take your feedback to our educational content department for review and consideration.

The wording is ridiculous and not straight to the point. Some slides aren't right. The verbage wouldn't be so difficult it's too wordy for no reason

This course is just a computer reading poorly written power point slides made from the book "Modern Real Estate Practices." Could you not at least proof read the slides and video someone lecturing this material? Also, there are several test questions throughout the course that are just plain wrong or the answer to the question is not included in the material provided. I emailed several of these questions to various staff members throughout the class. When I say several, I mean like at least 20 or more. The math parts are just plain awful. I found youtube videos and paid for a guy who makes a living off teaching this stuff, to supplement this material. I don't feel like I would have passed the state exam without this supplemental material. As a follow up, the owner of this company did personally contact me and was very nice and receptive to my complaints. I feel confident that the company will work to iron out these problems in the future. It was a pleasant surprise to have someone respond to my review through a personal phone call. On another positive note, someone does actually answer the phone when you do have a problem or question. They are knowledgable, helpful and friendly. That is a big plus and was a major factor in why I choose this particular class in the first place. Being a business owner myself, I do not take it lightly to write a review that is less than great, but I can not in good conscious lie about my experience either. My wife has signed up for this same course but has not started it yet. Hopefully, these issues will be fixed and her review will be stellar. I have heard from several other people taking other online real estate classes that they have had similar experiences to mine with other companies so maybe this is the standard in this industry.

Easy to get through. However, the practice testing doesn't change questions when retaken. Studying through testing didn't seem valuable. The testing didn't help for the actual licensing test.

The platform was easy to use, but I think the questions should be more difficult so they are more similar to the questions on the exam. The topics covered in the questions are appropriate and they highlight the right stuff, but they are very simple level. The practice questions may lead you to believe you know the material more than you do.
