What was right? Went in Saturday to test drive a specific car confirmed by email and a phone call to go all the way there be left for 40 mins then tell us the car wasn't there, however looked at different car , ended up buying it and was called on Monday to storage collection for Thursday ar 4pm , go all way in tonight and again left sitting for an hour for them to then say it wouldn't be ready till tomorrow ( Friday ) at 5pm... Very poor customer service, both myself and my husband took a half day for today to collect. Don't get my rating st all .

Arranged to view a car on the same evening as I made contact. That morning I received 3 communications from Peter Vardy staff confirming the appointment, sending a video of the car and telling me who would be meeting with me. I drove 40 minutes to get to the garage and when I arrived I waited 15 minutes to be seen, then spent 25 minutes giving the rep my personal details, to then be told the car had been sold earlier - appalling service. I will be telling everyone not to even look at Peter Vardy for a car. Initial excellent customer service with absolutely no follow through. If I ran my business like that, I would be out of business!!!

Purchased a car (Seafield, Edinburgh) and when it came to the day of delivery, I called to see if everything was ok and it transpired that they sold the car to someone else who came in AFTER I bought the car!! This was also despite a £500 deposit and confirmation print off of the sale. I gave them the chance to redeem themselves however I don't contain much hope of that. So I have been left extremely disappointed. I lodged a complaint but no action so far to correct things. Think Im being fobbed off, which they have done before. Ridiculous treatment,. never using them again.

Our car was delivered after not being checked correctly and therefore not roadworthy. Having delivered it back to the garage, we were constantly chasing for updates and asking to speak to a sales manager, but never received a return phone call till three days later, and after only then requesting a courtesy car was one delivered. Customer service has been very poor and has resulted what should have been a joyful purchase into a very upsetting and frustrating experience.

Left my wife to deal with purchase as I was working. Probably a mistake on my part, but still no excuse. We were busy getting ready for the arrival of our new baby. First car I've ever purchased from a dealership that only offered 10 months MOT. Car advertised with Sat Nav then told at hand over we needed to purchase a card (£160) from Nissan for it to work. Eventually got a card sent out that is 4 years out of date and fails to work the majority of the time. Paid £200 for Premium Protection, valeter failed to clean windows and we never received the protection package, like last time, so very much doubt that it was carried out. My own fault for letting my wife deal with it and then rushing into it in time to go into labour. Painless purchase, but my wife's inexperience and impatience caused her to be misled too easily into thinking we were getting a good deal. Won't be back at Peter Vardy

shocking experience bought a 2012 astra in march 2016 nothing but problems from day 1 damage to car was supposed to be repaired before pick up but wasnt was only advised after signed paperwork so car had to be taken back to garage to be fixed , there was also a knocking from front suspension when picked car up back to garage yet again they fitted new tie bars to front suspension picked car back up vehicle suspension still knocking back to the garage yet again for almost a week new struts were fitted (DODGY MOT I THINK ) , then vehicle broke down with me on way home from work misfiring and went into limp mode , called the garage someone will call you back within the next 5-10 minutes , called they back after 1 hour , service department now closed (surprise surprise) had to get my own way home and went to garage next day new coil pack fitted. engine service message came on and off for last 4 weeks called service department to book it in for service was told car was servicer just before took delivery so checked air filter was black as coal and spark plugs were corroded so definately wasnt serviced sold was then told the service light would need reset went to get this done , then was told theres a fault with car and it £96 just to get it put on diagnostic equipment only had car 4 months so if you want hassle free motoring go some where else cause peter vardy will rip you off

I had an appointment to view a car at seafield in Edinburgh. It turned out that car had been sold which I wasn't informed about. I viewed a car on line which I paid a deposit on and was told the car would arrive in two days, I contacted the branch four days later and was informed the car had just arrived. I went down to view the car which was filthy inside and out. When I picked the car up this was also late due to a replacement light panel en route, which didn't arrive. I still have not had the part replaced and had to contact the branch again today. And I don't really have much faith in this replacement part actually arriving. Overall I am pretty disappointed with my Peter Vardy experience in Edinburgh.

Really disappointing and angry with the service received from Peter Vardy Edinburgh, bought a very expensive car. I am a disabled women when i took my car in for a trade in I asked if they could exchange my pedal adaption from my old car to the new car, which they agreed they could do for me, I took my car in on Thursday, on arriving at the site my old car was taken away to swap over the adaption no one asked me what as involved or came and asked me where my pedal needed to b positioned, felt like rushing for me to sign the paper work to ensure sale completed before month end(so sales rep received commission in month wages) when i went to get into the car after them telling me car ready to go , went to car and my adaption pedal would not fit they needed to try and to sort came back after 2hours , by this time i had been in the garage from 9:45am this was now nearly 4:00pm Pedal still not correct , was asked to take for a test drive felt uncomfortable and unsafe was told by mechanic if not happy to bring back to get fixed on the Monday which i booked in (later found out when i went back on the Monday car wasn't even booked in) I had to drive home this very expensive car feeling unsafe and shaken to the core during Edinburgh rush hour not an experience I would like to anyone to go through. And to make matters worse all i kept getting told was well it was done for free, NO IT WAS PART OF THE DEAL WHEN PURCHASING THE CAR!!! No Regard for my safety or well-being Nearly crashed the car only after one day ending up taking the car to my local garage who were saints and repaired the COCK UP peter Vardy caused All they cared about was the signature on the dotted line- It nearly cost me a new car and my health, Please do not go near this Garage if you value your life

Very poor customer service. Not happy with this service I got at all. Had a few issues about getting a car because my dad was buying it for me there were alot of problems which we were unaware of at the start. Our dealer didn't explain nothing and when I asked for deposit back I was told it would be send in cheque which they didn't receive it in cheque

I spoke with someone online regarding a used car and was promised a call back by a sales manager, this never happened and after several phone calls by myself I was told the car price was not correct and that they would not honour this an what offer they did make me was not very good and overall I feel let down after wasting so much time so I would find it very difficult to recommend them to anyone, sorry!

I think the original service I received before I purchased my car was fine and very truthful, however the other staff i dealt with after I received my DAMAGED car, was absolutely disgusting. the company as a whole is revolting because first of all the car they gave me was completely damaged inside and out, so god knows what would have been wrong under the bonnet. because of this and the service I then received and the way they dealt with the situation in SEAFIELD EDINBURGH I was left with no car and £2000+ in debt. they refused to take the car back after 6 days of having it unless I paid the said figure. this could have been easily resolved but because of the loop holes created I gave up in the end. SCAMMERS. I will never ever use peter vardy again and will carry on telling other people the same.

I just bought a corsa at the Edinburgh Seafield branch and was happy until I picked up the car. On the sales receipt I noticed that the salesman Mark Clay had added paint protection and car mats without even telling me. I complained to Craig the sales manager who apologised and offered to cover the cost of my first service. This offer didn't come close to the cost of the useless paint protection and the car mats, which incidentally were not even given to me until I complained. I agreed to let it go and accept his offer as he said that was all he would do. The offer he made was almost two weeks ago and despite me chasing it up and calling twice I still have not received the promised letter. I am happy with the car but totally disappointed at the underhand way that these products were sold to me without my consent or knowledge, and even more annoyed at the fact that this has not been resolved.

I brought a 2012 VW CRAFTER from the Aberdeen Vauxhall branch and I have nothing but problems with the van . I have had the van since march and it has cost well over £4000 worth of repairs to it . This is one of the worst sales experience I have had I just keep getting fobbed off from the branch from managers to sales staff . I am looking at taking this matter to court over the shocking time I have had at this branch. Regards . Mark Bullen

Absolute joke of a place, spent whole of May Day here away to buy a x5, just as away to complete deal they told us it had just been sold then tried to sell us another x5 with higher milage for same price! Think they thought we were desperate as had 9 month old baby and had travelled from Aberdeen ! Disgusting service!!! Then the joke of it is, they obviously hadn't sold the car as they phoned 3 times following week asking us to buy it, you can imagine my response!!! You missed out on a sale we bought a discovery in Aberdeen following week at dearer price as so disgusted bmw!!! Hopefully you work better on your sale tactics, if you need advise try not being complete idiots !!!
