Terrible customer service. I contacted Rory Allen to resolve the issue but he didn't seem interested and didn't bother calling back.

Would think twice or even 3 times before I use them again, it's a changed company, Your treated like a VIP to get the sale and after that your just a vehicle. Communication and aftercare is redicoulously poor especially for the size and competitive nature of car sales. PS still waiting on car 4 weeks after since I signed the deal

Called twice to confirm the deal they had on a Corsa at Motherwell. Drove 50 miles to get the only to find they did not have any cars at the advertised price. The salesman hummed and hawed a bit when we got there and was unable to show us the car. He sad he would get his laptop to check the stock and lot and behold there were only ones more expensive than adverised. It is just wrong to advertise something that is not available.

From the start nothing went right. Trying to contact a sales team member was terrible and I was palmed off. The agreed deal was changed and within weeks I had to make a complaint for it to be changed back. I should have learned then and cancelled. I didn't (silly me) and 3 years of constant headaches ensued. In the end I couldn't wait to get rid of the car, not because I hated it, but because I found Peter Vardy so terrible I wanted to wash my hands. A friend also bought a car and has not had a pleasant experience. I recently bought a new car from Motorpoint and the differences in service are shocking. Everything was so easy and pleasant. I will NEVER visit or recommend Peter Vardy. Lessons could be learned from Motorpoint.

applied for car finance on a black bmw one series on Friday 27th of May, to be told this particular car was 'reserved' for us, when applying we were asked for our household income (I was applying as a single person as my partners credit is bad) on Sunday 29th of May we were informed that the car had been accepted with a guarantor which my father agreed to be. on Monday the 30th of May I was told I would need to take in 3 bank statements from the last 3 months, and 1 pay slip. I was also informed the company had asked for a high deposit but I would NOT have to pay anywhere this as Peter Vardy were going to cover part of it. I was also told that the car repayments were £250 per month (which we were happy with). I was told that by 10am on Tuesday morning I would get a phone call to inform me what paper work to take with me , also to confirm the car as the registration they gave us was actually for a silver car when we were buying a black one.... So by 4pm that day - nothing. I called up and got told i would be called back within 5 minutes , again nothing. The next time I called back I asked to speak with a manager, who was just as much help as the first guy. I explained the situation and he informed me that unless I came up with £1000 deposit , £270 per month and proof that I earn over £1000 per month, I was not getting the car (the wrong car might I add as they had actually SOLD the black car that was RESERVED for us). I work part time and do not earn £1000 per month , which the salesman knew because we discussed that it would be based on my partners earnings , which was agreed to because I only work 2 days per week. The manager then proceeded to tell me I was wrong and that basically they do not work this way, when infact when I bought my last car with them I was not working at all due to being pregnant and it was based on my partner income yet again.

One of the worst dealerships i have ever had dealings with do not seem to give a hoot for customer satisfaction,every year i have one of our cars serviced same old problem with not up datind warranty 3 years now also never ring back about other cr with a problem seems like they are not interested .

False information given by Sales representative, he did not bother to respond when I emailed/called to speak with him on numerous occasions to get a status update on my vehicle. Had to contact the managing partner of the branch to log a complaint. Garage were late in paying off existing finance agreement and then to add insult to injury, called me 2 weeks after I collected my new car, the branch called me asking if I wanted to renew my old car, the staff member was not aware it had been in the ownership of the Peter Vardy for the last 2 weeks - unbelievable!

Found my perfect car (and I'm fussy) it was a beautiful Audi A1 in red, really gorgeous!! Went out on a test drive..... Something I just don't do unless I want to buy, came back to the Motherwell garage, sat down with Johnathon to talk figures only to find it had been sold!! Felt so dumped. My husband purchased his BMW there and always praises Peter Vardy however I will be looking elsewhere when changing my car :-( Johnathon was great about it and so apologetic

Poor service fine to take your money but when it comes to repairs they don't want to know!! Absolutely shocking customer service. Will be going to another car dealer in future,

Bought my car in February,in the first week a bubble appeared in paintwork,took car back no problem we will fix it just take it to our preferred bodywork garage,that's wen I find out the car has had some very poor paint job done to it,report sent back to vardy ,to be told we will get it fixed,now In May and many phone calls I have to make I keep getting passed around like a dirty rag and still no one will speak to me,,the worst company I have ever dealt with,if I new this would have happened I would have gave my car before cooling off period,I now have a appointment with citizens affice as I'm fed up chasing wen I'm the customer it should be other way around

picked car up on 15/04/16 had to replace bulbs next day which means NO ONE HAS LOOKED OVER CAR BEFORE HAND OVER, windscreen wipers need replaced and still waiting for second key for car, WAX ALL OVER CAR,wasn't valeted{ very dissapointed } simple things hence why service plan was cancelled NO ONE CARES AFTER SALE ONLY LOOKING TO MAKE SALES. PHONING A WASTE OF TIME & MONEY LEAVE MESSAGES NO ONE GETS BACK???? AFTER BUYING CAR THE AMOUNT OF PEOPLE WHO HAVE SAID THE AFTER SALES CARE IS APPALLING I WOULD HAVE NEVER BOUGHT AS THEY WERE RIGHT

Waited over 7 weeks for car, communication was a nightmare, and after sales service not much better, won't be recommending Peter vardy and will prob never buy from them again myself

We bought a 4x4 from you in October 2015 and the customer service we received was shocking!! We were contacted by the same salesman, John McIntyre, who we have no issues with. Initially we were going to leave it and take our custom elsewhere but after chatting with John, decided to give you's another go. That's proven to be a huge mistake. We seen a car that we really liked and arranged to take it for a test drive. During this, we heard a noise coming from the offside rear, which John had heard as well and agreed to book it into the garage to get repaired before we were to pick it up. This was fine and we instructed John to go ahead and arrange finance. There was very little contact with us during this time, my partner had to call constantly to get information such as the registration so we could arrange insurance. Everything went through and we were to pick the car up on Thursday so we headed in for 4pm. My partner asked to take the car for another drive as John McI and Kelly had advised that the car had been driven 6 times by the technician (apparently trained) who put it down to road noise! The minute my partner went out in the car, he could still here it, eventually the technician went out with him and the noise was pointed out as soon as the car left the forecourt. We now have to bring the car back during our day off for your trained technicians to do a job they should have done in the first place. Also, i would look at the company you use for valets as the car was clearly not cleaned properly. There is spilled coffee all over the centre console, marks in the seat etc. We also paid for Peter Vardy mats for the car but they are seriously going to cause an accident as they do not fit properly and every time you change gear, the mat catches on the pedal. I've actually removed the drivers mat and its in the boot. I thought I would give you's the benefit of the doubt and that the customer service I would receive would be better this time, but no! I'm yet again paying for Peter Vardy's incompetence and I am seriously considering cancelling the finance and handing back the car.

On agreeing to purchase the vehicle and driving from Edinburgh to Aberdeen to collect it, It took a further 12 days for the vehicle to be delivered to me in Edinburgh Quite appalling service with a salesman who really needs to improve his attitude when things go wrong.

Avoid - Bought a Vauxhall Meriva, 62 plate with 18k miles, for £7.5k cash, when I picked it up, it had mould in it, hadn't been cleaned properly - never had the parcel shelf of mats that I had ordered in it - Sales Manager then just went and got a parcel shelf out of another Meriva... That had mould on it too... 3 days after picking it up and driving to Dunfermline, the car wouldn't go into cruise control in 6th gear and when I got to my destination, I had to wait, parked it up, put the hand brake on (Electronic Parking Brake(EPB)) listening to music, tapped the accelerator and the car began rolling back! Called up, was told that was normal - (it wasn't doing it all the time!!) - asked to bring it in to look at why it wasn't going into cruise control in 6th gear... Called back 4 DAYS later to be told it had the wrong gearbox in it and they couldn't give me it back... I asked for my money back. Was refused the refund until the V5 came through. All throughout my experience, when calling up the dealership, the managers were always in meetings and would never phone back when they said they would... (around 8 times) I had to get Glasgow HQ involved and even they were 'shruggish' about it all. So 2 weeks, without a car, without my money... Hell, I am still waiting on my Road Tax Refund from DVLA... Don't get me wrong, bad things happen, but in this case, there were far too many of them and the situation was really badly handled. I wish I could post the photos up of the cars mould before I got it valeted. I ended up getting an awesome car from Lings Cars... Highly recommend them!

Picked car up alloys were scuffed had a scratch in the door brakes squeaked like mad waited a month for the car to go in to be sorted promised for weeks the car would be picked up never happened and when car did eventually get picked up was supposed to be back before 3pm for my girlfriend to pick my son up wasn't on time so she's late to pick him up and all the work still hasn't been completed not a very happy customer

Complaints about after sales service. My car came with a so called 2 year warranty but also so faults which I noticed over the duration of the first few months. Contacted the garage that I had bought the car from and was qouted 156.0 per hour just for some one to test drive and perform fault finding. I was also told that the warranty was provided by a third party and Peter Vardy could not help me with my claims. I was qouted another 4-5 hours of this very expensive labour to perform fault finding, essentially preventing me from getting my car repaired.
