Despite having a great store nearby that I love going to,if only to admire gear I can only dream of. I have decided to only shop with Peter Tyson online The problem is the senior staff who are so dismissive of customers with sub £10,000 budgets that your heart sinks when dealing with them. Since Christmas I have had 2 interactions with a family member. The first time was to purchase a £1000 pair of headphones.he barely glanced up from his desk and told me to buy them online,before picking up the phone. The second time was with a £3000 budget to buy an amplifier. He told me he would get back to me. It took him 7 days, in the meantime I went on to their online shop and bought another one without the trial of dealing with salesmen. I have to say the younger salesmen are great,it’s the older salesmen with their old fashioned,outdated snobbish attitudes that still give the industry a bad name. Later this year I intend to buy a pair of Focal Kanta speakers for £7000+ I’d love a good showroom experience but my heart truly does drop at the idea of dealing with snobby salesmen (if only they would take a look at BMW,Mercedes,Apple and The Goldsmiths,sales room model and put the customer/potential customer first.

We wish we had read David’s review!! We feel exactly the same. Sick to the stomach after being scammed out of nearly £1,300. We bought a 55” Samsung TV that we unpacked as per the instructions. Upon turning on it was apparent the screen was damaged. We reported this immediately and asked for a replacement, in line with their ‘Peace of Mind’ returns Policy. To be told we must have damaged it when taking it out of the box. Which is 100% not the case. We suspect it was a previously returned item, especially as the plastic screen protector was wrinkled and had clearly been partly removed. They have offered us a replacement at a discount!!! Sounds like BTEGOTW…….. Buy Two Eventually Get One That Works!! Nice earner for them. As we say. We feel totally scammed and distraught. Please do not buy from them!!

Terrible experience. Watch out. They are not customer friendly at all and scammed me out of £420 and keep insisting that it is my fault. Blaming the customer!! I ordered a Chord Poly and a hardcase for it. The package arrived fast but ONLY contained the hardcase. They insist that they checked the stock and that they shipped the hardcase with the Poly. They also insisted on a DPD picture as proof of deliver which only shows the package at my doorstep. YES, I GOT THE BAG. Funny thing is that the bag was packed so tight that it would have not even fit anything but the hardcase. Kept it as proof. Still they insist that I have it and that it's my fault but I really don't. Feel sick to my stomach. I have thus been scammed out of £420 and don't know what else to do. Terrible experience.

Very bad return customer service. I've purchased Naim Muso speaker for £1300. The quality of the sound is not great. when I try to call them few times. they don't answer the return option in the phone. eventually I get through. They want to post back the good on my own cost which I agreed until I found out it will cost me £92 to secure post it. I've email them and of course NO REPLY.
