I have a spool where Pinch A Penney has been doing my service now going on four years. I absolutely love those that work there, especially Willy. I’m sorry he is afraid of my dog but Alan and Jack are taking over. Everyone is very pleasant. They do their job with what they need to do and I have never had an issue with anything, if I do, I call and speak to the manager and he helps me out right away with any questions that I have. Thank you everyone for your service.!

Their service tech is in and out in 3 minutes. Spoke to the manager who was rude and unprofessional above having them come back and finish the service I paid for. He canceled my agreement.

First of all, this company is truthful. Second, the representative that comes to my home for my pool maintenance (Jason) is very professional and does the job very well. I am only with this company less than 3 months, and I am very satisfied with my pool maintenance. I had to switch service to Pinch A Penny since my previous company wasn’t great at the job. Now, I am a satisfied customer! Thanks Pinch a Penny. I highly recommend this company without any reservation. Morie Alo

We have been using our Oviedo location for years for testing and some supplies. Very nice and knowledgeable. I recently had Ken come out for some non-routine issues. Ken was friendly, professional and polite. He spent an hour or so troubleshooting and getting our system up and running. It ended up being several small things that caused the problem. Good job. 👍.

We have been using Pinch A Penny at 2251 Citrus Blvd. Leesburg, Florida. We recently bought a house that had a hot tub. The brand is HotSprings with the salt water system. We went to Pinch Penny to get their advice on how to treat this correctly. They told us to use bromine. As it turned out, their advice was wrong. Their response was that it was our responsibility to know how to treat the water in the hot tub. They did not have the knowledge to prescribe the chemicals we needed to operate the hot tub correctly. They sold us a startup kit and extra chemicals. We were unable to get the water balanced. This caused us to go to a Hot Springs Outlet. Pinch A Penny was having us, place bromine and chlorine into the water at the same time. These chemicals are indirect conflict with one another. We brought this information to the staff, including the manager. They would not give us a refund on the unused chemicals. They said they are not supposed to give any refunds on sold product. They did not honor their policy for refunds on new and unused product. They are more interested in selling product then giving accurate advice for the use of the chemicals they sell. They have lost us as a client indefinitely!

Purchased a part that the employee got out of his truck. When I got home part was not needed and I tried to return it in the bag that the employee gave me with the receipt. Refused to take it back an refund money. Stated they could not take it back because they would not sell product in the bag that I had. So lessoned learned don't trust this store.

Worked with Jason today on a replacement salt cell OUCH He was wonderful and definitely understands retention, something missing today in most businesses. I’ve been shopping at the Mandarin Jacksonville Pinch-a-Penny for 25 years and have seen staff move to management level. Consistent exceptional customer service. They build and maintain relationships with their Clients there. Recently, Manager got involved to expeditiously resolve a matter with their equipment supplier. A professional courtesy in going over and beyond, which was greatly appreciated.

We had our pool resurfaced by Pinch A Penny Panama City, FL. We thought they did a good job. The warranty states protection against delamination for 10 years, as long as monthy water samples were brought in, which we did... always buying the products needed, and doing as recommended. A few years later we noticed a small area of delamination and let Jimmy Legg know about it. It took SEVEN MONTHS to get any response, then he quoted us $1,300 to repair a 3x4 inch area under warranty. The entire resurfacing was only about $5,000. I can't understand paying $1,300 for a small area under warranty. Over the years, we have probably spent approximately $15,000 with this company. We were good customers. We will never do business with them again, nor will we recommended them. So disappointing. I can see now why they have such low ratings. I just wish I would have never done business with them.

Pinch a Penny in Murdock Florida has gone downhill after new management. To bad it used to be a great place to visit. I wish I could give ZERO stars

Don't buy a polaris freedom from them, two months and counting for warranty parts replacement. Excuses have been plentiful. What a sham for $1300 pool cleaner still under warranty.
