The course was really quite expensive for what it was; £600 for about a 40 page workbook which was easy to breeze through and that was the advanced course. The training provider seems very keen to sell the product and quite uninterested in providing ongoing support.

If you want to finish some small courses, like Excel or Word, they're ok but too expensive. If you want anything serious, forget about them. If you want an AAT qualification, just buy the books from Osbourne, pay the student membership to AAT, and choose and pay an exam. The centre is not able to help you with AAT, ATT or ACCA etc. (They never heard of Tolley's!) I wanted to renew my membership with AAT and I needed a professional reference. So I went back to Pitman. I paid them £2,370 for a useless qualification and they refused to give me a reference because I haven't pay them any money the last two years.

The course and lessons itself are very good, however being told it was distant learning as I work full time, I find it very difficult being able to take my exams on the Saturdays they are open as they keep cancelling and never rearrange meaning im very far behind and have missed out on a promotion at work. The staff members are never apologetic about this and appear not to care.

Didn't receive initial email when I first started my course so I never had any guidance towards the course. I found out one month before my deadline that I had another 6 modules to complete and regardless of Pitman extending a couple of the modules for me - they could not offer me any extra help with the module I needed help with. Actual course is great and full of really useful information which I am now using day-to-day. But the training group are poor if they make errors like this often.
