“The controller is awesome I really like it, but still have some serious problems with the assembly or construction of it, I bought 3 controllers and each one after a couple months of use start to fail, buttons get stuck or when you press the directional button it does something different. Disappointed”

“I was super excited for this purchase and for the first few months it was great but literally at the same time, both the controllers I bought bugged out within months of my purchase, we are gentle players and don’t hit or throw them around. My left joystick looks to be fine but on cod mobile I’m stuck running backwards, it was compatible with cod mobile until now…. Also the vibrate button feature is stuck on???????? and my brothers left joystick literally just fell out. And both of ours takes screenshots and opens the backbone app on its own. Super sad. Please lower your prices if your gunna make it this cheap.”

“The controller was great the first two days I used it. After that it broke, probably something shorted out because it started to get hot on the right side - will see how customer support resolves the issue. Also what I think is important to point out is that the lightning input on the controller does not pass through sound to lightning headphones.”

“The concept is amazing but the amount of games that are compatible are extremely low. Playing with shareplay for PlayStation is cool but the joysticks are so small and input is on the joysticks feels janky. It’s not smooth. I understand it’s tough to fit everything into one controller like this but being so used to PlayStation controllers with smooth joysticks, the backbone feels sloppy. Still can’t wait to see how this turns out in a few years.”

“I wish it was a little more clear that the app requires a relatively enormous yearly subscription to use. And if I don’t want to use the app, why can’t I reassign the Backbone button to function like a DS4 home button for use in PlayStation Remote Play? It’s pretty irritating that there is no PS button function on this controller, but there is a useless backbone button to take me to a glorified app folder to launch games from that costs almost as much as a new AAA game to use. Controller gets points for nice clicky buttons but wow the rest of the experience is not good.”

“It broke not even a year in of owning it. The left stick just makes the character in every game move by itself. The quality of the controller itself feels pretty cheap and the buttons on the right do not have a good feel to it. For $80+ this was not worth it. This should be like $30. The only good features are the gameplay recording just by clicking a button on the controller and being able to charge it while playing.”

“The physical aspect of the controller is immaculate.However,when you remote play the game seems to lag and the graphics suck.For $100 it’s a ok deal but I would have expected a lot more.There is definitely a lot of room for improvement.And then to turn around and be charged $50 a year to continue having access to all the features is honestly a complete ripoff.Extremely disappointed.”

“Can not play with mobile data need to be connected to Wi-Fi other that it’s ok. If it mobile on the go then that’s means you can play without Wi-Fi. I brought 2.”

“Your ads make it seem like you can play Xbox games as long as you have game pass. However, you don’t tell anyone they actually need a console. Wouldn’t have bought it if I knew that. But still cool for iPhone games.”
