I joined Poshmark and sold two items. I tried to get approval to get paid for the items and spent over five hours over two separate days on the phone trying to get them approved. When I asked how I could get this fixed I received a chat message that said “we can give you your money back, you have to take picture of yourself bra or no bra & we will send you an additional $150, or you can just approve the charge” When I said, I was reporting them they told me I would never get my money back. Please note this was after approving over $1500 in charges that did not get credited and I had to cancel two accounts. I emailed customer service and was just told that all this was for my security. Do not set up a Poshmark account as a seller! I did purchase one thing I have not received it yet, so I cannot tell you how that transaction will go.

Terrible website and app for payment verification and no help from customer service ( a misnomer) unless you pay through the nose I’m done!

Poshmark live shows are awful!! Sellers gape, smoke pot, drink alcohol and verbal fight with other sellers. It's ridiculous...no thanks. BE CAREFUL WITH LUXURY ITEMS...MANY FAKES!!

Wrong size, clearly different from listing received. I went through the hoops to show pictures with proof/measurements, tags, etc with Poshmark denying my return and sticking me with a $45 order that was small adults pants when I had ordered a listing of small child’s pants. The seller was even apologetic but Poshmark blocked my ability to return. They clearly do not care about their buyers, once they get their money they move on. I won’t be purchasing from them again. There are no other platforms like this that treat their buyers so poorly.

Bought a bag that included "authentification." The bag arrived with literal trash inside. When I contacted Poshmark, they said there is no standard or checklist for authentication to show and I should take their word for it since someone initialed a postcard that was in the box with the bag. I do not think anyone actually authenticates anything. They also said the bag was at the post office and to go pick it up, but it was on my doorstep, so their tracking isn't great for expensive items.

Company does not care about their customers. I purchased a pair of running shoes described and shown as being in like new used condition, with no visible flaws and tread that made it look like they had only been worn a couple of times. Well, the shoes began to split apart between the sole and upper after wearing them once on the first day. The listing had made no mention or shown any pictures of this defect, but it’s clear this was a problem the seller knew about and had attempted to hide by re-gluing the shoe where it was coming apart. I opened a case the next day and poshmark said it was my fault because I wore them. I guess it’s my fault for putting shoes on my feet, moving around in them, and expecting them to stay intact. $115 wasted on my end and poshmark’s idea of making it right was giving me $5 credit. I’m sure there are plenty of good deals to be found on poshmark, but it’s clear they won’t stand by you when the shady ones happen.

Sellers can't authenticate simple items. Desperate housewives selling over retail priced, worse than second hand items.

Please save your money and do not spend it here. I ordered two Items—an icebreaker and a hoodie—from two different sellers. One came absolutely worn and not true to size due to being shrunk. The other item has a hole in it, and all labels are cut off, so it is most likely not genuine at all. I tried to return the items right away, and Poshmark refused to proceed with returns. Absolutely not a reliable company. It is a scam selling something worse than you can see in thrift stores.

Beware of their security. Someone hacked my account and made a purchase I did not do or authorize. They do not stand behind security issues. I was stuck with a purchase I would never buy and lost my money on it. I cancelled my Poshmark account!

Has no customer service, if you have any problem with your account, there is nobody to speak with only an email you can reach out to that takes forever to respond because they are in another country. The whole platform is a scam. But and sell somewhere else.

They don’t stand behind the buyer when the seller makes erroneous statements about their products. “Gently used” can mean worn out of shape and size. Poshmark tells you it was your fault for not asking the seller more questions.

The dress I received is not worth the cost. It was flimsy, thin material, no shape. I tried to deal with support but they were useless. I will not shop here again and advise others to “beware”!

Buyer beware!!! Poshmark will not refund a product you purchase that does not meet your needs. They will not refund a double shipment and double charge. They WILL NOT allow you to return the items. You take the full risk of buying something you haven’t seen. I will never purchase from Postmark again. They are a scam!!

I used to love Poshmark. But not sure what has happened, but since being sold to a foreign company, it's really gone downhill. Customer service is fine even though they are communicating with you at like midnight or 3am. But my main issue are the sellers, many of them seem really sketchy. Like myself, I like finding items from people's closets, items that are too good to just give away, so you try and sell them. I don't like the boutiques, but I also am not sure who I am buying from anymore, as the sellers don't use names, photos, and the mailing addresses are just random mailbox hubs in the middle of nowhere. I'm actually waiting for a refund for an item that was totally described wrong (size, everything), but once that transaction is complete, I'm deleting my account. I'll just try selling or buying my clothes at local consignment shops.

I ordered a vintage coach bag that I was excited to get but it never arrived. When I contacted Poshmark they assured me that everything was in order only to find out that the seller could not be reached. Eventually, Poshmark canceled my order and said they would issue a refund that would take over a month to show up in my bank account. If you are considering buying anything from Poshmark, run, don't walk away from that scam site.I will report to BBB.

This is the absolute WORST, WORST, WORST company EVER!!!!! Don't walk...RUN from doing business with Poshmark!!!!! I purchased a belt that was NOT in excellent condition as the seller described. Good luck trying to return ANY item. I followed their return policy to the letter and instead of kindly accepting my return, they make you jump through hoops asking for more pictures which was ridiculous in my case since the problem wasn't visual...the belt was worn and stiff which wouldn't be reflected in a photo. When I made this point to them they ignored me. They refused to answer me so I wrote another message asking for an update to my response...again...silence. Finally the only response I DID get was a denial of my return. I WAS FLABBERGASTED!!!! Are you kidding me??? In this day and age of companies focusing on the customer experience, this company is doing the opposite over a $60 BELT!!! Again, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!!! Buy on Ebay, Amazon or all the other thousands of companies that let you return an item!!!

I shipped my item to the buyer and I am supposed to be paid per their Posh Protect Policy. Tania has received several emails from me and I have sent over 20 emails at once even more but she doesn’t help whatsoever. She will make an excuse just to force a Poshmark Ambassador seller from getting their earnings.

Sold a pair of BRAND NEW Gucci pants tags attached. Seller wanted to return them because they were “worn.” Poshmark approved return?? Sold them on The Real Real within days with no issues. This buyer was an “Ambassador” so based on the reviews here they pick and choose who gets a refund. Never in my years on the app did I get a complaint. What a waste of my time.
