“Good idea - my friend liked her 'chocolate card'! However, I don't like the way that the recipient' address on the confirmation email does not show house number/name (made me panic a bit).”

“Used Postboxed to send a gift to a friend after the death of her granddad as a small ‘pick-me-up’. Like that you can send a personalised message. She loved it. 4* instead of 5 because the postage cost nearly as much as the bar of chocolate which I sent!”

Hi Jane, Thank you for your review and I am really sorry you didn't like your gift. We have only been running for 3 years so it is impossible that the chocolate was from 2010. Would you mind taking a picture and sending it to us of the date? It is possible there was a miss-print or some of the date's text got rubbed off. You ordered our most popular gift (the gin and tonic gift box) and it is such a shame to see you didn't like it - was there anything other than the chocolate that you didn't like about it?

Dear Guy, Thank you for your review. We do not send out any notifications or bills to recipients unless it is requested in email by the sender. Notifications are only ever sent by email to the sender's email address used when buying the gift. Please let me know if this wasn't the case with your order and we can find out what has gone wrong. “Easy way to send a gift to friends at a distance. Nice to be able to send something other than flowers or food, and no problem if the recipient is not in when the gift is delivered.”
