My renderings did not come out as expected. They printed out a lot darker than the document I uploaded and as a result lost a lot of detail in the prints. Was very unhappy and had to present a digital copy.

Hi Andrea! Thanks for reaching out. In checking the uploaded files, they are extremely dark with almost no contrast, as were the proofs provided. We can always be contacted to work through reprints of corrected images when there is an issue. Thank you!

I was dissapointed with the quality of of the reproduction of my picture. It could have been my fault, I am not an expert in enlargeing photos. I did not receive a very good reproduction of the original photo that I sent. Maybe I requested to much enlargement of the picture, I don't know. The picture was taken with an older high quality camera a few years ago, ( Sony A 6000 35mm ), The original picture was a high resolution photo. The reproduction my photo was way to dark with very little color in it and was nowhere near the quality of the original in color brightness or clarity. The enlargement of my picture should not have been mailed back to me in the first place without notifying me about the quality or color loss in the reproduction. No one would have been happy with the results compairing the original picture with the enlargement. Poster Print Shop should have been in touch with me to inform me about the way the reproduction of my enlarged photo turned out before sending it to me. They had my contact information. A partial refund would have been fair. I have choosen not to pursue a replacement after I talked to Erica, none of this was her fault in my opinion. This is the first time I have had a photo enlarged.. I probably will not do it again at 77 years old. No hard feeling towards Posterprint Shop. Things happen in life and sometimes you loose.

Hi Gary, We're so sorry to hear you weren't happy with the print of your cat. We've tried to work with you in several ways (chat, email, phone) to explain the issues compare your print with what was uploaded. You've answered most of your concerns here, you uploaded an image taken with an older camera that is already quite dark. Our color calibrated monitors and printers provided an accurate representation and print of what was uploaded and you approved the proof. It is a high resolution, dark, image. We've offered a reprint if we work together on a resolution, but as you've indicated here, you decided not to move forward. We pride ourselves in providing the best quality prints possible from the source material, but there isn't a lot we can do when source materials have issues and the proofs are approved. Thank you!

Hi Billy, We're a bit confused by this review. In looking at your order, you ordered "photo gloss", which is a gloss finish, you can see this on your order confirmation. To get a matte finish, you'd want to order photo matte. You also chose the "add .5 inch border" option during checkout, which is why you received a .5 inch border. Finally, on checkout, you checked the boxes approving the order, media, and proof. It does seem we delivered exactly what you ordered! Could you check your order confirmation again?

Sent pdf asking for 96" x 48" poster with 2" border on 4-sides. When I got the poster quite a bit of what I wanted was cut off the top & bottom and there was a 6" border on both sides. I couldnt tell from proof that this much was missing and I approved the proof but I feel someone should have notifed me that the finished poster would be different than pdf. What I got I cant use so it feels like I wasted $200.00

Hi Earl, It's true you ordered a 96" x 48" poster print and requested an additional 2" border around the outside of that print. The issue is that the PDF you uploaded does not size proportionally to 96" x 48". It's a completely different aspect ratio and sizes to only about 61" across. You used our order wizard which showed you this, and loaded your PDF "zoomed" to fill your requested print size. You're then given the option to change the print size to match your image size (which would have resulted in a 70 x 48" print), or you can scale down the image to fit (which would have left very large white borders on each size). The online order wizard shows all of these options. You chose to add the print this way to your cart and approved the proof that showed the layout. When this occurs, we have to assume you truly want the the image the way it is laid out, that is why the system gives multiple steps and questions to show you what you'll receive and verify it's what you want. We do apologize that you must have missed all these steps and repeatedly accepted the design. As a courtesy we contacted you to do a new print below our cost, but you have to choose which compromise you want to make on this design since it doesn't fit, and you haven't responded. Thank you.
