“The range of books which you are able to access and offer has diminished significantly since we joined Postscript - and the average postscript price seems to have increased more than proportionately. Sadly nowadays when we open the monthly catalogue - which we still do each month on receipt - we no longer haave an expextation that we shall be placing the next order. It used to be that a mixed Christmas hamper of books could be put together to get you to send to family, a great boon as we got older, and more out of touch with what appealed to the young. Sad;y no longer possible, and more a question of choice of titles than of overall cost.”

I can see from your order that you saved just over £80 on your order compared to publisher prices. “I have always enjoy looking at your choice of books available and then choosing several books. However having sent in my choose of books at about Christmas I did not receive the books. I wonder if the problem was with the Post Office or your office. I recently ordered some more books , which I have just received. I am always worried about the state of the books as up till now the parcel is thrown over my wall..I always hope that it will not rain !”

“Postscript provide a good selction books which I think cater for a wide variety of tastes.I retired from teaching in 1997 but I started buying from Postscript several years before that.At the age of 77 and with health issues buying from Postscript is convenient.Books ordered arrive in a few days and they are what is advertised.All the books I have received have been in good condtion. “Very good ordering service and choice of books, my only concern is the condition of the boxes when they arrive at my home, there is little care taken with the books as the boxes must be thrown about by these couriers and it has only been your careful packaging that has kept the books from being damaged. It is a pity that you cannot find a more careful courier firm.”

“My late Mother introduced me to 'Postscript' many years ago. A great source for e.g. exhibition catalogues that were too expensive at the time and other books, especially architectural. Also, an encouragement to read biographies that would normally be overlooked or other subjects. Calendars have proved excellent presents. Administration is good: books arrive quickly, well packed. If one is unavailable, there is a 'credit note' that works the next time an order is placed. While an order is not placed every time their list arrives, this has not deterred them from consistently sending one; it's always a priority to read. 'Postscript' is a welcome resource.”

“I enjoy looking through your catalogue and often find something that I like. Recently I bought2 Margaret Drabble novels and last week I received two by Elly Griffiths. Completely different genres but the Drabble ones are good and have not yet started the Elly Griffiths yet. I have had a number of books from you and have enjoyed most of them.”

“Very disappointed with last month's offers of books for sale. Not the usual interesting "stuff". Noticed that you increased prices for what you have on offer - suspect due to X-Mas coming. Never good for the sales when clients notice this. Still will keep looking out for you next sales”

Good afternoon, We maintain up 75% on publisher prices, and the reason why some of the prices may seem more is because the books in the most recent catalogue may have had a higher publisher price than in previous catalogues. We take great effort as a business to ensure our prices remain heavily discounted on the publisher price, and I am sorry that there wasn't much that took your interest. We try to ensure our catalogue appeals to all every month but we do have to rotate products within the catalogue so there is always something new for our customers.
