“The books are great, but the carriers are absolute rubbish. Evri delivered my last box of books in such a terrible condition that I suspected them of using it for football practice. Miraculously the books inside the box were not damaged”

“I very much like to receive the catalogues from Postscript, and frequently find interesting items there. The selection is very wide, and my only real gripe is that many of the books I would like to see are comparatively expensive, even in their reduced cost, so I have to be careful how many I can buy, making selections from a long list to match my pocket. Deliveries are timely, no excess packaging, and on that score I have absolutely no complaints.”

“Postscript books is like having an old-fashioned eccentric bookshop on your doorstep. It may not have the latest thriller, but it will have something that you had never thought you would enjoy. Occasionally you get a dud, but it goes to the charity shop and someone else may enjoy it. For those of us struggling with electronics, it has a paper catalogue and takes cheques. Not my only bookshop, but a much-valued one.”

“I've been using PS Books (PostScrip Books) for many years. Not sure how long, but certainly well before they moved southwards to Newton Abbot, Devon. I receive a monthly catalogue by post; and, most of what I buy from them is choosen from the printed catalogue, perhaps the previous one, or the one before that. I also get emails recommendations with links to their on-line catalogue; and there is an online pdf catalogue. Prices are good, often 50% off list price, or 75% off. So, often cheaper than Amazon, but PSBooks do appear to sell books via Amazon. Their online catalogue is very easy to use when searching for a book, or books; and so adding them to the basket. Paying for them, since they moved to Newton Abbot, is a different matter: it took two attempts on-line yesterday to pay for that order. My order of three weeks ago, the subject of this review, is still shown today as "awaiting acceptance"; but four days after ordering I had an email saying it was being shipped via Evri; and, it was delivered two days later. I don't know if I've been charged for this order yet, I need to wait for my this month's credit card statements.”
