“The book on Northumberland, I expect will be excellent. It is a Christmas gift so I have had to hide it. My husband found a previous book by the same author scholarly and informative. I am less sure about the children's "escape" book. I have glanced through it and I'm uncertain as to the age at which it is directed. During my teaching career, I came across such books where the vocabulary and illustrations were directed at different levels.”

“The books themselves are excellent. However,firstly, I was put on the emailing list without being asked,as I enjoyed perusing the catalogue which I'd done for many years. I don't use email much but was told I'd be removed from it for this reason, when I never wanted to be on the emailist in the first. This let's an otherwise great service down.”

“Courteous staff, rapid delivery and strong wrapping/packing. There seem to be fewer fiction titles - and no CDs at all, and trying to sort out titles on your website takes so long - authors in alphabetical order would be a boon.However, I still look forward to Postscript arriving, and I hope to keep finding things worth buying.”

“I have always been pleased with Postscript's service and products. On the subject of your website however; take biographies for example. The title and author are clear enough, but if you are unfamiliar with the publication; a brief description of the content would be helpful. Finally, although I don't consider post and packaging costs unfair; it's sometimes hard to equate p&p costing more than the book on occasions. Perhaps a small discount for regular subscribers might be an idea. .”

“I ordered the Baffle 218010 thinking it would be great for my grandson aged 8 to play on his sporadic travels: you gave the size but not the weight, which matters when sent to New Zealand. Lots of your toys are in huge boxes which then cost when sent abroad, but all in all I have been pleased with your selections over the years. Thank you.”

“Rapid delivery. Good range books.....particularly appreciated teacher's choice as I was buying for grandchildren in France and it's hard to select books for an age range of 9-14 of both sexes. Difficult to sieve out juvenile and late teens reading subjects. Website a bit 'wooden' lots of book cover photos, but a bit thin on resumes of content making it hard to judge suitability.”

The prices of our titles are the same both online and, in our catalogue, with the only difference being the post and packaging, which is free for orders placed online over the value of £25. The reason we charge for post and packaging when ordering over the phone is because placing your order with one of our Order Processors offers an enhanced service. Our knowledgeable Order Processors can provide additional information on titles where required and can also inform you of any titles previously ordered, amongst other things. Placing an order online removes the requirement for human intervention and allows us to pass this benefit on to our customers.
