“Rapid delivery. Good range books.....particularly appreciated teacher's choice as I was buying for grandchildren in France and it's hard to select books for an age range of 9-14 of both sexes. Difficult to sieve out juvenile and late teens reading subjects. Website a bit 'wooden' lots of book cover photos, but a bit thin on resumes of content making it hard to judge suitability.”

Hi Valerie, I’m sorry to hear that you’re not happy with our pricing for orders placed over the phone. The prices of our titles are the same both online and, in our catalogue, with the only difference being the post and packaging, which is free for orders placed online over the value of £25. The reason we charge for post and packaging when ordering over the phone is because placing your order with one of our Order Processors offers an enhanced service. Our knowledgeable Order Processors can provide additional information on titles where required and can also inform you of any titles previously ordered, amongst other things. Placing an order online removes the requirement for human intervention and allows us to pass this benefit on to our customers. We would be more than happy to help you get set up online and can talk you through it every step of the way. “As always your book selection is fine, your order system works well and in the event of a problem, your customer service is responsive. However, your order delivery system is not acceptable. For the second time, your preferred delivery courier, evri, lost our order/delivery and although evri stated that the order was in their hands, it was never delivered. You offered to re-send the order but by then some 4 of the 7 books ordered were no longer available. This poor courier performance can do nothing but damage your credibility - we suggest you review your courier policy.”

“I am impressed by the selection of books and the prices. However, your deliverers are letting you down. We leave instructions about a safe place to leave parcels. There is a notice in our window and information on your website. The last parcel arrived with damaged packing and was left on the doorstep in the rain. Have left comments with the firm's feedback.”
